Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3580

The next morning, Marina woke up while Carson was still dead to the world. The second she shifted, a heavy arm locked around her waist. "Where are you going?" he mumbled.

"Summer texted to ask what we want for breakfast," Marina whispered. "She's already up. I'm going down to check on her. Go back to sleep."

It was already bright outside, but with the heavy blackout curtains drawn, the room remained swathed in intimate shadows. Carson pressed his forehead against hers, his thumb lazily tracing her bottom lip. His voice was thick with sleep.

"Marina, I dreamed we got married. I was so damn happy."

Even in the dim light, he could see her eyelashes flutter. "It was definitely a dream, then," she scoffed softly.

Carson ignored her teasing. His dark eyes remained half-closed, gleaming with a predatory heat as he threaded his fingers through her silky hair. "I also dreamed about our wedding night. You were in your dress, and I was so impatient I didn't even take it off before I shoved you against the door—"

Marina clamped a hand over his mouth. Her face burned crimson as she glared at him. "Alright, that's enough out of you. Time to wake up from that dream!"

He kissed her palm and chuckled, his chest rumbling against hers. "Fine, I won't tell you the rest. I'll just replay it in my head."

Marina pulled her hand back in mock disgust, wiping it on the duvet. "Your mind is perpetually in the gutter!"

Carson wrapped an arm around her bare shoulders, pulling her flush against him. He let out a contented sigh. "Waking up was the best part. I realized I already have everything I was dreaming about."

Marina was utterly speechless.

His hand started wandering, clearly eager to turn his fantasy back into reality. Marina swiftly pushed him away. "I'm going to find Summer. Keep sleeping!"

Carson looked incredibly put out. The striking man pouted like a neglected puppy. "Who's more important? Your friend or your man?"

Marina tossed a wicked smile over her shoulder. "Outside of bed? My friend!"

Catching the arrogant arch of her brow, Carson let out a bark of laughter.

Fighting a grin of her own, she turned and headed for the bathroom.

Downstairs, Summer was already helping the private chef prep breakfast. The chef even went out of his way to tell Marina how naturally talented Summer was in the kitchen.
