Chapter 489
John’s eyes were filled with fear as he avoided direct eye contact with Estelle. He stumbled to his feet and made his way to the bathroom to retrieve a broom.
The others followed suit, their previous arrogance vanishing as they obediently began tidying up the room.
In the midst of the commotion, a sound of something being knocked over emanated from the bathroom, prompting Emily to hurriedly investigate.
Meanwhile, in the living room, Estelle leaned against the sofa, observing the cleaning efforts Mathilda, holding a mop in her hands, slowly approached Estelle. The bruising on her face was visible, and her eyes burned with malice as she fixated on the back of Estelle’s head.
As soon as Mathilda was right behind Estelle and had lifted the mop, her wrist was struck by something, the pain so intense that it felt like her bones had been pierced.
She screamed, the mop falling to the floor, and she clutched at her wrist, retreating Only then did she see that it was a Bentley key that had hit her wrist, and she felt like her wrist was about to break.
Estelle turned around and saw Jonathan standing at the door
She looked back at Mathilda, who was pale and frightened, backing away
Estelle leaned on the sofa with one hand and swiftly jumped up, grabbed Mathilda’s shirt, and yanked her towards the balcony.
Mathilda quessed what Estelle was going to do, her body shaking with fear as she screamed, ‘I’m wrong! I won’t do it again!”
*John, save me!”
“Help! She’s killing me!”
Her boyfriend John glanced at the fuming Estelle and then at the man standing by the door, his legs trembling, not daring to move
No one else, including the girls who had been friends with Mathilda, dared to come forward.
Estelle held Mathilda against the railing, her head down, most of her body hanging out over the balcony, her face pale, struggling and screaming.
He noticed every expression on her face and suddenly realized there was a lot about Estelle that he didn’t understand
Her actions and expressions all indicated that she was skilled at violence and even killing When pressing Mathilda down, her face showed no hesitation and he had no doubt she would really throw Mathilda off of the balcony!
Emily had already run over, grabbing Estelle’s hand ‘Estelle, let her go!
She couldn’t let Estelle commit assault for her sake, Mathilda was not worth it!
Mathilda’s face flushed red, overwhelmed by a sense of imminent doom. She succumbed to panic, collapsing and pleading for mercy through her tears. “Emily Emily, please
save mel
Estelle interjected sternly. “From today onwards, you are forbidden from hosting parties with your friends, and John is also not permitted to visit. Both you and Emily will take turns cleaning the house. If I catch you breaking this rule again, I won’t hesitate to hospitalize you!”
Mathilda could only manage sobs and desperate cries. I understand, I remember”
