Chapter 490
Estelle picked her up, threw her on the floor, and glanced at the people in the room. They immediately got busy
In less than half an hour, the room was cleaned and the stove in the kitchen was sparkling.
These people had never done any housework, so unless a person is pushed to the edge, they really don’t know what talents they have and how great their potential is! After they were done, everyone lined up neatly
Jonathan leaned against the door frame, looking at these people dressed oddly, with swollen noses and bruised faces, terrified like punished elementary school students. Estelle, with an innocent and delicate face, looked more like a gentle and kind girl next door.
The strange scene somehow made people want to laugh.
Estelle asked Emily to check all the rooms.
After taking a tour, Emily came back and said, “It’s pretty clean.”
Estelle nodded to everyone and said, “Get lost!”
The group immediately ran off.
In the blink of an eye, the house fell into silence, and Mathilda retreated to a comer, fear etched across her face Estelle remained silent, not bothering to return to her room. Estelle paid no further attention to Mathilda, only instructing Emily to contact her if any issues arose. Then she departed with Jonathan.
Once Estelle was gone, Emily approached Mathilda and calmly stated, “From now on, I’ll handle the cleaning duties on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You’ll be responsible for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sundays will be our designated day of rest.”
Mathilda still visibly shaken by the encounter with Estelle, slowly stood up and whispered with her head bowed, “As you wish”
After that, she turned around and went back to her room.
In a short while, the sound of Mathilda crying came from her room
Emily was startled, not knowing whether Mathilda was crying because she was scared by Estelle or because her boyfriend didn’t do anything when she was in danger! She shook her head slightly, turned off the living room lights, and went back to her room.
It wasn’t until they arrived at the Royal Mansion that Estelle realized Jonathan hadrit said a word since they left Emily’s house.
The two got out of the car and entered the elevator together
Estelle glanced at the tall, manly figure next to her and hesitated to say something
As they entered the house and before turning on the lights, Jonathan suddenly grabbed her shoulder, pinning her to the wall in the dark and kissing her.
The room was dim, with only the cold moonlight coming in through the window.
Estelle tilted her head back a little, closed her eyes, and held his lean waist, passionately responding.
