Manley rarely called her, but Jonathan happened to pick up today

Jonathan, phone in hand, with a sour look on his face. “Are you his darling?”

What Manley said today made him feel very uncomfortable

Estelle put her arms around Jonathan, “Mr. Lamont, don’t you think Manley

just said this to get this effect?” He called her his darling? He sure had the balls to say that!

Jonathan looked down at Estelle, “Stay away from him!”

He’d never hated someone as much as he did right now!

Estelle said lightly. “To stay away from him, he is on Earth, should I go to Mars?”

Jonathan raised his eyebrows, “Are you

saying I’m being vexatious?” Estelle smiled faintly, “Keep this up and Manley will be even more thrilled!”

Jonathan snorted. “You think I don’t see through his games?”

“Why do you care, then?” Estelle asked softly.

“As long as it’s about you, I can’t ignore it The man looked serious.

Estelle looked at him, “Can we stop talking about him? I’m hungry”

“I’ll take care of you, my princess!” Jonathan smiled, scooping Estelle up in his arms.

Estelle wrapped her arms around his neck, “I don’t want to be a princess, I want to be a queen!”

left in a hurry. He drove to the bar where Yvonne was, walked into the private room, and was hit by a strong smell of alcohol.

In the dim light, Yvonne was sitting alone on the couch, drinking straight from the bottle

“Yvonne, stop drinking” Josiah tried to take the bottle from her

“I’m fine, I can still drink. Let me drink, if I don’t, I’ll feel even worse!” Yvonne poured herself another drink, and one for Josiah, “I called you over to drink with me, not to talk me out of it. If you’re a true friend, you’ll drink with me.”

“I’ll drink, but you can’t drink anymore!” Josiah wrestled the bottle from her

Yvonne apologized, “I’m sorry, did I interrupt you and Amiee? Is she upset?”

“No, we don’t really concern ourselves with each other!” Josiah chuckled.
