Chapter 795 

“Are you thinking about me?” Jonathan asked softly, “Can we video chat?” 

“My grandpa is calling me!” Estelle muffled her answer with her face buried in the pillow. 

Jonathan paused for a moment, then chuckled, “Do you want me to give your grandpa a call?” 

“Nah, I’m afraid he’ll be scared by your call, he’s a scaredy-cat!” Estelle gently replied. 

“Then I’ll visit him next year,” Jonathan said. 

“Okay,” agreed Estelle, then after a pause, she whispered, “I’m going to hang up now.” 

“Alright, Jonathan’s voice was gentle and deep, “Sweetie, I love you!” 

Estelle’s heart skipped a beat, she quietly responded, “Got it,” and then paused for a few seconds before hanging up. After hanging up, Estelle realized that Jonathan was actually waiting for her response during that pause. 

She regretted hanging up without saying anything. 

She lay on her bed, looking out of her window. The weather was nice, and the sun was shining brightly. Her eyes were glazed over but all she could think about was Jonathan. 

His deep gaze, the way he spoke, the way he said he loved her.. 

Estelle closed her eyes, suddenly missing him so much! 

After a while, Estelle got up, glanced at the time, it was almost 10 o’clock. 

She found it strange that her grandpa hadn’t come to wake her up. 

Having freshened up and changed into different attire, she spotted Old Mr. Wade approaching. He greeted her with a smile, “Ms. Macclain, you’re awake! Are you feeling hungry?” 

“Where’s grandpa?,” Estelle nodded. 

“He’s in the flower hall.” 

Estelle felt a warmth in her heart, “I’ll go find grandpa.” 

“Go ahead.” 

“Alright, Estelle smiled. 

With a nod and a smile, she headed for the flower hall in the front yard. 

In the flower hall, Old Mr. Jarvis was sipping tea and playing chess. Hearing Estelle calling for grandpa, he turned around and couldn’t help but smile. 

Estelle stood at the door, wearing a light blue long dress with a cloak of the same color. The white fur on the hat wrapped around her small face, making her look stunning. 

Old Mr. Jarvis waved at her, “So late! Hurry up and come over!”
