Damian seemed a bit reluctant to let Norah, the sweet little girl, go. "Even if she's not working here anymore, she'd definitely come back and visit us, wouldn't she? Will you let her?"

"I'll let her. As soon as she steps in, she's a guest. All we need to do is treat her well," Xavier took a drag on his cigarette, sounding indifferent.

Damian shook his head, "You've got quite the cold heart!"

Xavier shot him a glance, "Quit babbling and leave once you finish here!"

Damian packed up his stuff, shrugged, and left.

Nighttime.

After taking a bath and getting ready for bed, Norah suddenly remembered the razor. She took it out of her bag again. It was a very ordinary black razor. The packaging was simple and there was not even a manual or a warranty card.

Norah examined it, picturing Xavier shaving and found it a bit funny.

She put the razor on the bedside table and stared at it. She suddenly remembered the day she was tied up by Nicolas and thrown out the window. Xavier kicked the door open and looked at her in shock and panic.

With just one glance, she fell out the window. But she would never forget the look in that man's eyes, and she would always remember his kindness!

On the other hand, Yvonne had someone investigate what had happened as soon as she found out about Xavier's injury, but the police wouldn't say anything.

Jonathan's face changed, he asked seriously, "When did this happen?"

"Not long ago, the police station at the Movie Center received a report. The guys who kidnapped Norah are still in custody!"

Jonathan's look became cold. He took out his phone and called the police chief. The chief told him what had happened and apologized repeatedly. He said it was not intentional, but Ms. Lamont had specifically asked him not to tell Jonathan.

After hanging up, Jonathan looked very serious.

Yvonne said, "Estelle also knows about this. But I bet, she didn't tell you!"
