She was so young back then, all she knew was the instinct to survive. So she really did kneel on the ground. But with her face numb from the cold, she couldn't open her mouth.

Victor threw the food down on the ground, mixed with snow and dirt, and fed it to her as if he was playing house and she was the dog!

Their foster mother leaned against the door, coldly remarking, "You’re not good as a dog!"

The funny thing was, she didn't even know she wasn't their real daughter at the time, and neither did the foster mother.

"I'm not your sister, for real!" Estelle looked at Victor with a blank face, "Your real sister is in the Macclain family. You go find her!"

"Sister, I know mom and dad weren't good to you when we were little. I was young, I didn't understand. But we are children of the same mother. We grew up together." Victor looked at her clothes and said, "You're doing well now. I don't even have money for food. Our parents are dead, if you don't look out for me, no one will!"

Estelle frowned, "I told you, your real sister is in the Macclain family. They mixed us up. We have no blood relation!"

Victor didn't believe a word she said. He just thought she didn't want to admit that she had a brother. So he continued to plead, "Sister, have some pity on me. Even some money for me to get back to C City will do!"

"This has nothing to do with me!"

Estelle didn't want to argue with him so she walked into the community.

Victor blocked her way, demanding, "Even if mom and dad were bad to you, they still raised you until you were four. Give me the money for those four years of meals!"

Estelle looked at him coldly, "Were you the one who raised me?"

"Mom and dad raised you, and what's theirs is mine!" Victor said confidently, "You give me the money for those four years of meals. I won't come to you anymore!"

Estelle scoffed, "That's right. Either way, they did raise me for four years! How much do you want?"

So, he was deceived again, huh?

It was clear that Estelle and Victor knew each other. There was even some financial connection between them.

Jonathan pinched his forehead, letting out a self-mocking chuckle. He was incredibly upset, who had he fallen in love with?

Why couldn't she disguise herself better, so he wouldn't find out?
