Chapter 406 The Wedding Day
Chapter 406 The Wedding Day
Nira’s POV:
Edith and Natalie shared a look before saying together, “We’re planning your wedding!”
My cheeks flushed instantly. “Edith! You should still be resting.”

“I’m perfectly fine!” Edith replied, bursting with energy. She turned to Natalie. “I think we should set the date for the sixth of next month…”
Natalie smiled and nodded. “Whatever you say, Edith.”
Kade and I stood off to the side, watching the two of them chat excitedly about decorations, guest lists, and flowers. We exchanged a warm, quiet smile.
A month later, the wisteria vines at Howell Estate bloomed right on schedule, draping the grounds in cascades of soft purple.
By five in the morning, I was already in the dressing room, wearing a wedding gown that had taken a top designer over three months to hand–stitch. Tiny diamonds–9,999 in total–covered the skirt, shimmering like scattered starlight in the early dawn.
“Mom…” I met Natalie’s eyes in the mirror, my voice catching slightly.
She gently fastened a blue diamond necklace around my neck. “This is the Howell family heirloom
Starlight Tears. It’s traditionally passed down to the Luna of each generation. Edith insisted I give it to you today.”
I was stunned. Kade wasn’t officially being inaugurated as Alpha King until the following week, and I wouldn’t become Luna until then. I never expected Edith to offer me something so symbolic already.
It was her way of telling me I was truly part of the family.
My throat tightened with emotion.

Third–Person POV:
Meanwhile, beneath the wisteria arbor, Kade looked unusually restless.
Zane straightened his bow tie and grinned. “Never seen your hands shake before, Mr. Howell. Even my wolf can feel how nervous you are.”
Kade shot him a look but didn’t get a chance to reply before Edith was wheeled over. Dressed in a deep violet gown, she looked radiant.
“Kade,” she said warmly. “I’ve brought the deed to the family’s coastal estate. Consider it our wedding gift
to Nira.

Guests began arriving soon after–high–ranking Alphas and Lunas from packs across the country, along with close allies and friends.
Once everyone was seated, the ceremony began.
Holographic projections recreated the starry night from Kade’s proposal, right there under the same wisteria. As the gentle notes of Mariage d’Amour began to play, Nira walked slowly down the aisle on her father Killian’s arm.
Kade’s breath caught when he saw Nira at the end of the path.
Nira’s veil was dotted with real wisteria petals, and with every step, the diamonds on her gown glittered like moving constellations.
A soft murmur swept through the crowd. “She’s stunning…”
Edith dabbed her eyes and leaned toward Natalie. “Our boy is so lucky to have found his true mate.”
Natalie smiled and squeezed her hand.
Nira’s POV:
When it was time to exchange rings, Kade pulled out a blue diamond the size of a quail’s egg–then unexpectedly dropped to one knee.
“Nira,” he said, his voice low but clear, “I love you.”
The whole gathering cheered.
Blushing. I nodded as he slid the ring onto my finger. But then, like a magician, he produced another. “This one was made from Grandma’s heirloom stone,” he explained. “Now we’ll have a matching set.”
As we placed the rings on each other’s hands, hundreds of drones lifted into the sky, forming the word FOREVER against the blue. Even more breathtaking, holograms of the two of us appeared above the crowd, as if the sky itself was blessing our union.
Later, at the reception, Edith clapped her hands mysteriously. A server wheeled out a magnificent nine–tier cake.
“Grandma helped design it,” Kade whispered near my ear. “She wanted it to reflect both Howell tradition and everything you love.”
Just as we held the knife together to cut the first slice, Natalie stood up. “I have a gift for you both,” she
announced.
She signaled to a staff member, who drew back a velvet curtain to reveal a detailed architectural model.
“This will be the Nika Medical Research Center, Natalie said, her eyes glistening. “We break ground next month. May your love grow just as your legacy will.”
