Margaret decided not to push the matter further. She pulled open the passenger door and climbed inside. “I’ll leave everything to you, Mr. Jewett,”
The hovercar glided smoothly out of the parking lot and merged into the busy aerial roadways of Prime
Planet.
Margaret leaned back against the seat and closed her eyes to rest. She had handled the conflict that day perfectly, but she understood this was only the start.
In the original story, her three former partners had been Phoebe’s most loyal followers. They would do terrible, reckless things just for her. To make matters worse, Phoebe’s three A-class partners had not even appeared yet.
Her Holo-bracelet vibrated again on her wrist soon after.
She opened the device and found a message from Baar.
Baar typed, “Federal Military has a heavy workload, so I need to leave Prime Planet for a few days. Look after yourself. Contact me anytime if anything comes up.”
She typed a short reply of “Oh” and shut down the screen.
Cheiron spotted the action from the corner of his eye and spoke casually. “Was that Mr. Iverson?”
Margaret yawned softly. “Yeah. He said he’s leaving Prime Planet for a few days.”
Cheiron turned the steering wheel and steered the vehicle onto a quiet, secluded road. He dropped the previous topic and asked in a gentle tone, “What would you like for dinner tonight? Timothy brought in a professional chef for you. We might as well head back and enjoy the meal.” –
The thought of Timothy gave Margaret a headache. The young blond noble clung to her relentlessly, just like a powerful interstellar adhesive.
She let out a long sigh. “We’ll go back for dinner. If I stay but any longer, he’ll drive himself crazy with boredom at home.”
Inside a high-end villa located in Prime Planet’s most luxurious residential district, a loud crash rang out through the room.
An exquisite cup slammed hard against the wall and shattered into countless pieces. Phoebe stood in the center of the living room, her chest rising and falling rapidly with rage.
Her usual soft and gentle features twisted into an ugly, fierce expression. Her Holo-bracelet played the interview footage from Central Hospital on a continuous loop. Margaret’s clear face was magnified on the holographic display, and every mocking line felt like a sharp blade cutting into her nerves.
Phoebe ground her teeth and let out a hoarse growl, “You bitch! Margaret, you hateful bitch!”
She had fought so hard to reach her current position. She had finally cast off the label of a useless B-class

female and become a popular S-class female admired by many.

Now, a few casual words from Margaret had destroyed everything she had built. Being forced into unpaid work and donating half her monthly subsidies was no different from having her lifeblood drained away.
Without that money, she could not afford the special medicine she relied on.
Just then, the front door of the apartment swung open.
Three tall men stepped inside. They were Phoebe’s three A-class partners, assigned to her by the Central Brain.
The man with short hair walked at the front. He frowned at the mess scattered across the floor and spoke in a stern voice. “Phoebe, why are you losing your temper again? We already heard what happened at the hospital. You chose to provoke that 3S-class female on your own. Throwing a fit here will not fix anything.”
His words only fueled Phoebe’s anger. She spun around and stared fiercely at the three men.
Phoebe screamed, pointing at them, “Am I the one throwing a fit? All of you are useless failures! If you were 35-class warriors like Cheiron and Baar, would I have to bow to others at the hospital? Would I have to put up with Margaret’s insults?”
The three men’s faces turned cold in an instant. They were ranking officers serving in the Federal Military. Though they were only A class, they held solid status and had always indulged Phoebe’s moods. They would not tolerate such harsh humiliation.
One of the other men spoke in a frigid tone. “You need to control yourself. Remember how you obtained your S-class rank. If we had not secretly supplied you with special medicine all this time, you would still be surviving on basic relief aid in the slums.”
