Margaret knew immediately her invitation had been pointless. The Central Hospital was buried under piles of urgent work and major surgeries. The hardworking director simply could not step away for a

vacation.

Timothy cut in quickly, his tone hurried, “He definitely doesn’t have time. Mr. Jewett carries endless responsibilities. People across the galaxy rely on him to treat the most difficult medical cases. The hospital cannot run without him. My Lady, let’s not take up his precious rest time.”

Cheiron let out a quiet laugh as he watched Timothy’s protective stance-Timothy looked ready to close the door right away to keep him from joining them.

He smoothed the collar of his bathrobe slowly and turned his eyes back to Margaret.

“Valoran Galaxy? It’s a wonderful place,” Cheiron said in a gentle tone, then added casually. “As it happens, I still have my annual vacation days unused this year.”

Timothy’s face darkened completely.

Margaret was also caught off guard. Things were not unfolding the way she had expected.

Cheiron noticed their contrasting expressions and spoke at a steady pace. “I still have important hospital matters to arrange, and there are work handovers to finish. You two go on ahead first. I will join you as soon as I wrap up my tasks.”

Margaret had no reason to refuse now. She nodded in agreement. “Alright. We’ll wait for you there.”

Timothy stood to one side and ground his teeth in frustration.

Early the next morning, the loud roar of massive ship engines roused Margaret from sleep.

She rubbed her eyes sleepily, her hair messy and unkempt, and walked over to the window. She pulled back the curtains and froze completely where she stood.

A huge interstellar starship sat on the open ground outside the yard. Its body was pure silver white, and its sleek design was full of high-tech styling.

The area around the house was vast and sparsely populated, with wide stretches of wasteland all around. A vessel this large would never have found a place to land in the busy city center of Prime Planet.

Timothy stood beneath the starship, directing several staff members as they carried luggage aboard.

Margaret sighed. She finished washing up, changed into casual light clothing, and headed downstairs.

She had just stepped out of the yard when she ran into Cheiron, who was on his way to work.

He wore a sharp, dark formal uniform today, carrying an aloof and dignified air. There was no trace of the lazy, charming look he had worn in his loose bathrobe the night before.

“Good morning.” Cheiron paused and glanced at the oversized starship, a hint of amusement in his voice. “The Hurst Group’s wealth lives up to its reputation. They even use military-grade warp starships just for a

vacation.”

“Good morning.” Margaret replied casually and brushed back her wind-tousled hair. “I never thought he would go all out like this.”

“Stay safe on your journey,” Cheiron said, his tone turning serious. “Valoran Galaxy thrives as a famous tourist spot on the surface, but it draws all kinds of characters behind the scenes. Black market trades run rampant there. Reach out to me right away if you run into any trouble.”

Cheiron tapped his Holo-bracelet lightly as he spoke. “I will finish all my handover work and arrive no later than three days from now.”

Margaret’s thoughts drifted.

Is the black market actually located in the Valoran Galaxy? Or has this underground trade network long spread across every galaxy? As a galaxy with a booming tourism industry, it boasts heavy foot traffic and a mix of diverse star identities. truly making it an ideal hiding spot for the black market. I definitely made the right call going there.

“Got it. See you in three days.” Margaret waved at him and walked toward the starship.

The moment she stepped on board, Margaret truly understood just how extravagant the galaxy’s wealthiest family could be.

This was far more than a starship-it was a flying luxury mansion.
