Gold Moon Mated To The Beta Twins (Meadow) novel Chapter 447

Chapter 447 Want Me to Teach You?

All hell broke loose.

Stella pressed her fingers to her brow, cutting Allan off before he could yell. “Allan.”

Allan said, “Huh?”

Stella lifted her gaze, her eyes cool. “The Reed family will reach out to you soon.”

Allan’s pupils contracted sharply.

But before he could speak, Stella’s lazy voice came through. “I’m hanging up.”

And just like that, she ended the video call.

Allan was silent.

They arrived at the National Museum of Heritage in Jaffina.

John said, “Ms. Carter, we’re here.”

He parked the car near the staff entrance on the side of the museum, just as Stella had asked.

At the entrance, Karson stood with the deputy director and others, waiting for what felt like ages.

When the Mercedes-Benz pulled up, Karson’s eyes sparkled with excitement, and he started rubbing his hands together, barely able to contain himself.

Karson thought, ‘She’s here!

‘She’s really here!

‘Moon is here!’

The door opened.

Stella hopped out.

At the same time, the back window rolled down, and Lucas gripped the edge with both hands, looking like a little puppy left out in the rain, his eyes watery and pitiful as he whimpered.

And right behind him sat Sebastian, looking like a human iceberg, all gloom and doom.

Karson was stunned into silence.

Sebastian’s gaze shot past Lucas’s shoulder and locked onto Karson’s face.

Karson nearly jumped out of his skin.

Scared the heck out of him.

“I’ll be back when I’m done,” Stella said, her gaze lowered with effortless poise, her words calm and unhurried. Sebastian, caught off guard, looked momentarily awkward.

With an icy grip, he yanked Lucas back by the collar, let out a frosty snort, and his ridiculously perfect face vanished behind the slowly rising car window.

Karson thought, ‘Uh-oh, someone’s pissed!’

‘The more drama, the better!’ Karson couldn’t help but think.

Stella lazily curled her fingers and knocked on the car window.

The window rolled down in a flash.

Sebastian was still his usual ice-cold self, lips pressed into a thin line. He might as well have had a sign around his neck that read, “No way I’m staying, unless you come and sweet-talk me this instant.”

He didn’t forget to pin down Lucas, who was reaching out to Stella for a hug.

‘Bah. Mine, all mine. Who do you think you are?’ Sebastian thought.

His face stayed stone-cold and indifferent.

The next second, Stella reached out her hand, her palm open, waiting for something.

Sebastian’s eyes sparkled, and inside, he was fist-pumping like a kid who just got candy.

But his face stayed frosty as he reached out. “I’m really busy today, but if you really want me to stick around, maybe I could… ”

Stella interrupted, totally chill, “Phone.”

Sebastian froze for a moment, then followed.

Stone-faced, he handed Stella her forgotten phone, rolled up the window, and shot a frosty glare at John in the rearview mirror.

Still cold as ever.

John rolled his eyes.

Some time later, with a stomp on the gas, John sped off.

Stella spun her phone in one hand, watching the Mercedes-Benz disappear. With a half-smile, Karson could clearly hear her murmur, “Adorable.”

Karson was left speechless.

‘Man, you can practically smell the romance in the air, Karson grumbled to himself.

“Let’s go,” Stella lazily withdrew her gaze, her usual boldness and flair tucked away. She casually slipped her phone into her pocket and strode toward the staff entrance of the massive museum.

Everyone trailed behind her.

It was a whole parade.

“Karson, who is she?” As they neared the work area, the new deputy director finally managed to pull Karson aside and ask the question burning in his mind. ‘Isn’t this a bit over the top?’

Karson shot him a calm, knowing look. “Moon.”

The deputy director was left speechless.

‘That doesn’t really answer my question, does it?’ he thought.

Karson said, “Don’t bother asking. Let me put it this way, she’s the one who brought back those national treasures that had been lost overseas from Yaloria.”

The deputy director was struck dumb, like he’d just been hit by lightning.

‘It was her?’ he thought, totally stunned.

At the Restoration Department, everyone held their breath.

While the other restoration specialists were busy at their workstations, the one right in front of Stella was totally deserted.

“Where’d they go?” Stella asked, sounding totally unfazed.

Her vibe was so intense that it made everyone feel like they couldn’t breathe.

Someone nearby hesitated, then finally muttered, “They went to the bathroom.”

Stella lifted her gaze, totally unfazed, shot the person a look, and swiped her hand across the table.

“Say that again?” she said, her voice cool and unyielding.

She held up her pale fingertip, now coated in dust from long neglect, and let them see for themselves.

‘Like that’s from just a bathroom break; Stella thought to herself.

Her neighbor at the next desk was stunned into silence.

Behind them, Karson let out a cold snort.

Stella just flicked the dust off her finger, keeping quiet.

Everyone else clammed up, too scared to even breathe.

“Get some people over here,” Stella said, turning to Karson behind her.

Karson replied, “I’ll have the Security Department send some people over.”

At that, all the restoration specialists paused and looked over, curiosity written all over their faces.

Soon, the Security Department sent a few people over.

People from the neighboring departments started poking their heads out, wondering what was going on, but as soon as they spotted a whole row of higher-ups, they immediately pulled their heads back in.

“Throw out all the personal stuff on this desk,” Stella said, not even bothering to sound serious. In the sunlight, her deep amber eyes were cold as ice.

“Uh…” The security guard glanced at the desk and instantly recognized it. This was Tallulah’s spot. The knick- knacks on it easily cost six figures each. ‘Are we seriously supposed to toss all this?’ he was freaking out inside.

He hesitated.

“This desk is…” a manager tried to speak up, but Stella just shot him a look, and he clammed up instantly.

Stella said, “Need me to teach you how?”

With a flick of her wrist, she knocked over the photo frame of Tallulah and her husband. It hit the floor with a crash, glass shattering into a spiderweb.

Nobody else dared to make a sound.

Everyone jumped in shock.

Some folks who’d been buttered up by Tallulah’s little gifts scrambled to pull out their phones from under the desk and started texting her like crazy.

Half an hour passed.

A convertible supercar screeched to a halt at the staff entrance. Tallulah stepped out in her high heels, sunglasses still perched on her face.

By the time her colleagues texted her, Tallulah was already on her way.

Honestly, she couldn’t believe anyone would have the guts to mess with her. The Reed family and Lab 709 had
