PART–105

“You aren’t the model but you are the boss whose‘ mind is behind the designs which you will present to the worl tomorrow. You must dress special.” He said.
I squinted my eyes at him.
“I’ll call Lea’s designer to send a dress for you by the evening.” He said.
“It’s fine. I will choose something from my old dresses, Logan.” I politely refused because it’d be a waste of
money.
I never really spent money on very expensive dresses unlike his sister. I knew what the dress would cost because Lea’s designer was one of the famous designers of the country.
“The dress is already ordered and it will be delivered by evening.” He said.
I saw him fishing his phone back into his pocket.
“Logan, seriously, I don’t need a customized dress. I feel confident in whatever I wear.” I said.
‘But I want you to stand out there. I want the world to see the beautiful woman behind the success of a new company which made its name in less than a year’s time.” He closed the gap between us.
I retreated until my back touched the wall. My heartbeat raised.
“Tessa, I want the world to know that you’re Tessa Wilferd, my wife who is as capable as anyone in this world.” He said, his voice levelled and full of sincerity.
“You’re such a sweet talker.” I said looking away.
“I can be more than that.” He whispered.
At this point, I could barely breathe.
“Logan, I think Lena must be awake…” I tried to say confidently but my voice came out like a mere whisper.
“Lena sleeps at this time and Lucas is at his school. You can leave if you have some urgent work.” He almost pressed me between the wall and himself.
Our foreheads touched. I almost forgot this kind of intimacy between us.
When his lips brushed on my cheek, I felt heat waving in my body. It wasn’t sexual but enough to awake my hibernating desires which I could only fantasize with him.
His lips moved downward and kissed my nose. I swallowed hard to keep myself steady but I failed.
“May I kiss you?”
