“It’s nothing.” I forced a smile and shook my head. I guessed he hadn’t heard the conversation between me and

Adrian.

“When I woke up, I didn’t find you in the bed so I checked Lena’s room first but you were there as well.” He spoke. His hands loosely wrapped around my waist.

“I get up early everyday ever since Lena is born. Besides, I have to visit our stores to see how the sales are. We can’t judge the selling market on the basis of a successful launch.” I told him why I woke up very early.

He nodded his head.

“I am thinking to go office for a half day. There’s a pile of work and I don’t think sitting home would help me.” H said.

“Logan, don’t overdo yourself. You are the director of your company means you have an entire organization to rui your business. Please, rest for a couple of days. You can manage your work later.” I tried to talk logically.

“I understand your concern, Tessa but sitting here all alone is also depressing. You know I have never taken off from work. It’s playing with my mental health unless I have you and the kids around.” He said.
