PART–119
Tessa
I was enjoying the morning in the garden. The fresh and sweet smell of flowers and earthy smell after watering the plants soothed my mind.
“The plants are growing into trees.” Logan’s voice ended my solitary time in the garden but I didn’t mind at all.
“Yes, I hope they’ll fruit soon and our kids will relish them.” I laughed.
He shook his head and together we strolled in our garden. It was the best part of the house for me and I paid personal attention on its maintenance.
“I want to take you out on a dinner date tonight.” He said out of blue.
I tilted my head to glance at him. He looked optimistic.
“A date?” I narrowed my eyes.
“Yes, I want to take you on a proper date. I have been planning this for a long time but I waited for the right time. I wanted us to clear the misunderstandings between us.” He replied.
“I will go on a date with you.” I said and a wide smile spread on his lips.
“I’ll make it the most special date for us. Be ready at sharp seven.” He said.
I could see the excitement in his eyes.
“I am curious now. Are we going on a dinner or there’s more?” I asked.
“It’s a surprise, Theresa.” His lips curved upward.
My heart leaped with excitement because going on a date with the man whom I loved unconditionally always felt special.
}} He said after a pause.
“I have picked a dress for you. I am sure Kelly has already placed it in your room.
“Logan, how many people are involved in your plan?” I narrowed my eyes again.
“Does it matter? Everyone wants to ship us together.” He teased.
I shook my head.
“They all want us to be together except your own family.” I said.
“My Dad loves you.” He reminded me.
“Yes, your dad respects me and accepted me as his daughter–in–law but it always pains me how your Mom and sister see me as a gold digger. I don’t know what wrong have I done to upset them.” I said with sadness.
He held my hands and kissed them.
“Don’t let them affect your happiness. Everyone else loves you. I don’t know what they have against you. Honestly, I gave up trying. They should see that I am happy with you. We have kids together and in future maybe our family would expand. Please, don’t let their words affect you.” He tried to cheer up my mood.
I smiled upon seeing his face. He was doing his best to deal with every problem and obstacles in our marriage.
“Let’s have breakfast. Lucas must be up, I am going to check upon him meanwhile you can check on Lena.” I said to him.
He nodded his head and with entwined hands, we walked into the house. I couldn’t miss the smiles and teasing glances of the
house staff.

“Tomorrow, we have appointment with Lena’s doctor for her second vaccine.” I told him.
“I know, I have all our kids‘ schedule on reminder. I’ll reschedule my work and go with you. Lena becomes fussy after her vaccination.” He replied.
