PART–121
Logan
I was left stunned after knowing that all these years I wasn’t aware that the woman who made me fall for her by her kindness, it wasn’t Raelynn but Tessa.
Tessa was the one helping the poor that day but the girl I met in the same clothes was Raelynn. It turned out that I was never in love but impressed by a woman for her generosity because I was mostly surrounded by materialistic women.
They only cared for their appearance and their bank balance.
“Logan, back to earth.” Tessa snapped her hands in front of my face and giggled.
“So, it was you but why I saw Raelynn who claimed that she loves doing charity for the poor and underprivileged?” I asked.
She shook her head.
“I don’t know what she did to impress the richest bachelor in the city. All I remember that she requested me to lend my coat to her because she was feeling cold in a dress which wasn’t for winters.”
Her answer clarified a lot that had fogged my ability to judge and I realized that I made the worst calculations of my life and got deceived by Raelynn and her parents.
They introduced lies about their daughter and she projected them perfectly to win my heart and she actually made a place for herself. I never loved someone before and she was the first girl who made me feel those feelings.
“Logan, why are so quiet? Please, forget about it because it’s past and I know the future belongs to us.” Tessa, who received my silence in response, said.
I cupped her face and kissed her lips with newly found feelings for her.
She was startled by my sudden action but soon she melted into the kiss and wrapped her hands around my nape to relish the exchange of our emotions through the movements of our lips.
“You always shock me.” She said once we broke the kiss.
“So, it means I have been in love with you since the start.” I smiled.
Her pupils dilated and her smile died down.
“Logan…what…are you saying?” Her hands slipped from my shoulder.
“I am saying if I had foolishly fallen in love with a woman whom I hadn’t seen but got impressed by her kindness, and now she has a face then it means you were my first crush.” I answered.
When I thought about it, I had realized that I was a fool to categorize love.
She laughed on my words.
“Well, I am not mad at you because finally you got your brain back and I hope you make a better use of it from now onwards. Please, don’t judge someone or something just by their outer experience.” She advised me.
“I promise I won’t make the same mistake again.” I said and pulled her for another hug.
“Shall we start our date now? We have to go back home before Lena started missing her parents.” She looked up at me and I
nodded.
I pulled the chair for her first. I called the chef who served us all the favourite dishes of my wife.
Her eyes sparkled when she saw the food.

“Thank you. I was craving salmon for days and its delicious.” She said after taking a bite and the satisfied look on her face made me happy.
“I called the chef specially from LA.” I told her.
“Logan, isn’t it too much for a date?” Her cheeks were red.
“No, it’s not. You know I don’t do ordinary things when it comes to pampering my family.” I replied quickly.
