Goodbye, Mr. Ex-Husband, I Won't Come Back novel Chapter 162

Tessa

“I love you, Theresa Vance.”

I blinked my eyes to believe that it wasn’t a dream. The time stilled in the moment he said those three words. For seven years, I had waited and hoped that one day I’d hear those words from the man who captured my heart the moment I saw him at the end of the wedding aisle.

Tears of happiness streamed down from my eyes. I broke down into tears and he quickly pulled me into a warm hug.

“Hey, did I say something wrong?” He caressed my back.

I shook my head negatively and hugged him even tighter.

“I am just..just..happy.” My throat choked.

“Am I too late to confess my feelings, Tess?” He asked in an amused tone.

“Yes, you are but I am still happy. I can’t believe my ears.” I said looking up at him.

His eyes reflected the same. There was no doubt in the genuineness of his words.

“I love you, Tessa. I love my wife. Maybe I have loved you for a very long time. It just, I have realised it when you left me for the first time.” He said.

“Still, it took you four years to say these words?” I smacked his chest.

“I am sorry. I find difficulty to express myself, Tessa but my feelings are undeniable for you. In fact, I fell in love with you at first sight, it just I mistook you as that liar.” He said while wiping my tears gently.

We were standing in the middle of a road, confessing our feelings. It felt so simple and natural.

“It’s okay. Our present matters.” I smiled and rested my hands on his chest to feel his heartbeats.

He was finally mine, on papers, physically and emotionally.

“May I kiss my wife now?” He stared at my lips, “It feels like our second wedding.”

I blushed and looked down. His lips first brushed on mine and slowly he captured them for a slow kiss. It wasn’t rushed or passionate and I loved it.

It was the silent confession between us. I clutched his shirt to balance my weakening legs. In that moment, I forgot about everything and allowed myself to soak in the love.

“I love you so much, Tessa. Please, give me a one last chance to prove my love.” He looked into my eyes as he requested me for another chance.

“You won’t let anyone come between us and trust me over everyone?” I asked.

“Till my last breath. I have learned my lesson. I know you would never want something bad for us. Your words will be my law.” He said giving me a kiss on the forehead.

“Then I’ll consider your proposal. It’s not easy for me you know. I have a business here. I need to hand this branch over to eligible people. It will take time.” I reasoned.

“I understand but you have given me a green signal, I am ready to wait more. I will come here whenever I will miss you and kids.” He said with a broad smile.

“Then I don’t think you’d be able to leave this city. You miss kids all the time.” I chuckled.

“Perhaps you are right but I miss my wife more.” He said locking his hands around my waist, his tone became huskier.

“Logan, we’re outside and anyone could see us.” I wiggled to get out of his hold.

“Then invite me inside your house. I want to make this night special for us, Tessa. I missed you terribly and it’s impossible for me to restrain my feelings anymore.” He whispered in my ear.

My breathing became shallow.

“It should be our wedding night after confession.” He trailed his lips on my temple.

He knew my weakness and he was playing his part smartly. His hands roamed on my waist.

“Let’s go inside.”

My patience faded away.

“I didn’t plan on staying here tonight but seeing a beauty like you is giving me the hardest challenge of my life and you are my wife. I want you, Tessa.” He breathed into my ear, “I don’t think I’d let you go.” He whispered in my ear while his fingers traced my bare back.

He leaned and slowly kissed my neck, his hands moved on my bare thighs before they parted my walls and I tried to close them again.

“Don’t hide yourself from me, my love.” He groaned and my heart fluttered on his endearment.

“Stay calm and let me feel you.” He whispered to calm down my nervousness.

“Please…be gentle.” I whispered and lowered my head.

He lifted his face and I could see sparkle dancing in those golden eyes.

“Only you can drive me crazy for you, Tessa.” He said and buried his face in the valley of my breasts.

His tongue swirled around my hard nipple and I cried as a wave of pleasure hit me. He barely did anything and I was already on the verge of passing out.

“Please…” I didn’t know why I begged this but when his finger slid into my tight fold, I squirmed.

“Relax, I am preparing you to take me because you’d not be able to endure it if I go rough and I don’t want to rush tonight.” He whispered, his fingers rubbed my wet clit.

Soon, my lips were captured by him. His finger, which moved slowly at first, now went deeper and I felt so good. The friction made me want more.

He then added another finger and the stretch made me moan loudly. I dug my nails on his back. I felt a fireball growing bigger and bigger in my lower abdomen as his fingers slid in and out of me while his mouth left wet kisses all over my neck and cleavage.

Suddenly, he withdrew his fingers and I gasped feeling the sudden emptiness.

But in the next moment, my breath was caught in my lungs because I felt his velvety hardness pressing on my entrance and gradually he sunk his length in my virgin folds. I grabbed his shoulders as I felt my walls stretching. It was a bit discomforting as I was having sex after four long years.

Tears filled my eyes but he sucked them. His tenderness melted my heart.

“Shhh…this is going to be unforgettable soon.” He whispered in my ear and moved on a slow pace at first.

Soon, the room was filled with the steaming passion between us. I allowed myself to find pleasure in my husband’s arms. It was unplanned, uninvited but the newly blooming energy inside me had pulled me in his orbit.

I couldn’t resist.
