I didn’t know how I should have felt.
Should I have to regret sleeping with my soon to be ex–wife?
I felt guilty because I didn’t regret it all. The night rekindled the flames I once felt for Tessa. I knew it was a physical attraction that a man and a woman can’t deny if they’re living together.
The touches, those soft moans, those beautiful eyes looking at me with only love and yearning, asking me to give her one last night of her life as my wife.
In two days, we’d be on our separate ways but why every time the word ‘divorce‘ was mentioned or brought up, I felt a tug in my
heart.
I woke up first because I hardly slept while she slept like a small, innocent baby, exhausted from our passionate night and alcohol in her system.

“Lucas, let’s check your bag to ensure if you’re forgetting anything for today’s final rehearsal.” Tessa said to him.
“Will you come later?” He asked his mother who helped him to wipe his mouth.
“I am coming with you so we can furnish our performance today. Tomorrow, we’ll relax and then the big day. We’ll make your first performance memorable.” She said in a soft tone, her eyes were full of tenderness but the hidden sadness was also there.
I felt uneasy because the gala day would also bring the end of our marriage.
“Luke, let me drop you and your Mom at school today.” I said to avoid the heavy awkwardness in the air.
We had to speak. I didn’t want to be blamed for taking advantage of her.
“I’ll be waiting outside,” I added when I received a silent nod from her.
It really annoyed me how she was avoiding me in the best way possible.
We had to talk about the last night. It had been over a month since we slept together, shared passionate mon theoretically wrong since we were getting divorced in two days. How could we give in to our desires and
