PART–079
Raelynn
“Ray, please, calm down and sit. You have been pacing around since I came here.” My mother spoke with
annoyance.
I snapped my head to glare at her.
“Mom, if you can’t sit quietly then leave because I want to kill someone right now and that person is Tessa if I find her.” I groaned and wanted to hit my head against the wall,
“Raelynn, Tessa isn’t here and I am sure she won’t come back.” My mother seemed very sure about Tessa’s disappearance.
“How can you be so sure? Did she tell her before leaving that she’s going forever? I mocked her.
Her face turned red with embarrassment.
“Ray, I am trying to help you here because you couldn’t do anything on your own. It’s been almost a year since you came back but Logan isn’t yours yet. Whose failure is this?” She slapped the reality on my face.
“You and Dad are also responsible for this. Why didn’t you leave Tessa to die on the streets when her parents died? I could be living in peace if she had died along with her parents.” I yelled in frustration.
“We didn’t do it out of kindness, Ray. Her parents left everything on her name and if she died, everything would have been seized by the government. Her sly parents didn’t leave even a single penny for us so we had to stand up as her guardian.” My mother clarified.
1 looked away because the truth is always harsh.
“I don’t care, Mom. I want Logan at any cost and I don’t think I have more patience.” I said sitting beside
her.
“He’ll be yours but you have to do what I’ll tell you this time.” She said.
She had an evil grin on her face.
“Mom, please, don’t come up with crazy ideas because I have to win Logan not giving him an excuse to end things with me.” I warned her beforehand if something wicked was wheeling in her mind.
“Don’t worry, my plan will definitely work if you follow it with care.” She said and shared her plan with me.
“Mom, this is impossible and what you are suggesting, if it fails it will ruin me and every chance of winning Logan back.” I rebelled when I heard her plan.
“Then tell me if you have something that could guarantee success?” She raised her brow at me.
“Still, Mom. He barely sees me nowadays and you are suggesting me to drug him and make him sleep with me so I could play a victim and force him to marry me.” I threw my hands in the air.

“Ray, please, think again. This is tough but not impossible. You can meet him for a dinner to apologize for your outburst and I am sure he’ll understand and then take advantage of the situation. Just do as I say, rest I’ll handle.”
My mother encouraged me for something very dangerous but when I thought deeply, it made sense.
If I could make Logan to sleep with me and create a scandal of out it, he’d be compelled to marry me.
“I know you can make it work, Ray. You are smart and beautiful. Logan loves you, my dear. You just have to get rid of Tessa’s ghost from his life and he’ll be yours.” She encouraged me.
“Mom, I am scared. If something goes wrong, I’ll lose him forever.”
“You just convince him to have dinner with you at the restaurant that I’ll choose, rest leave on me.” She patted my back.
“Okay, let’s try your way as well but if it fails, mind my words, Mom. I’ll be your worst nightmare.”
“My sweet girl, you are just like me, full of fire.” She laughed.
enwhile, my phone rang and the number flashed on my screen soured my mood instantly.
ored it and off the screen.
Kaelynn, why aren’t you answering the call? It could be urgent because the person called you twice.” She frowned.
“It’s not important, Mom. My friend is calling me. I’ll talk to her later.” I lied and she looked convinced.
