“This is a risky plan. I think we should gather more information about this Italian guy. If he has possible links with Logan’s accident, then it means he had only targeted Logan. Maybe he’s insecure with Logan. Raelynn is two timing if our guess is correct.” Felix said.

“Then we should expose Ms. Cowper so she’d be out of Tessa’s hair for good.” Adrian added.

“Let’s stay low profile and keep a close eye on this Riccardo guy. Maybe, it’s Raelynn. We don’t know until we have solid proofs. Logan narrowly escaped death and this is something we can’t just ignore.‘ I said.

“Then let’s end today’s meeting. We can’t let them suspect us because three of us are meeting at one place. If they’re keeping a track on Tessa, they’d know and get alerted.” Felix said.

“Okay, I am heading home now. Be careful both of you with what you’d do to dig more concrete information on Raelynn.” I advised them and we parted our ways.

I was on my way to home, my phone rang displaying Logan’s number. I forgot to inform him before leaving the hospital.

“Hello.” I answered the phone.

“Where are you, Tessa? It has been two hours.” His deep voice came from other side.

“I had an urgent work at office so I had to go and now I am heading home. I have to pick Lucas from his school in my way.” I told

him.

There was a silence between us.

“Please, be safe and if possible, can you bring Lena here? I miss her.” Logan requested me.

“Okay, I’ll bring her over and don’t move much if you want to get out of there soon.” I said and ended the call.

My mind revolved around Riccardo and Raelynn’s relationship. From what I had learnt, I knew that Riccardo mostly lived in

Italy and recently shifted in our city. Could it be possible that Raelynn was living with him?

By judging her appearance, her flawless skin and there was no trace of struggle, I guessed she was living with him.

But what was the need to return? Riccardo was a rich man who owned a vast wealth in Italy and also in our country.

Maybe I had underestimated Raelynn Cowper.

My thoughts came to a halt when the driver pulled the brakes in front of Lucas‘ school and masked my tensed face with a smile to greet my son.
