This deafening noise had haunted my nightmares for so many years.

Before I lost consciousness, I saw Calvin push Georgia forward.

It was just an accident.

So naturally, they ruled out the possibility that I had caused the explosion.

But even now, they still wanted to know how I knew the explosion was about to happen.

I made up a reason: “I suddenly smelled a strong odor of gas.”

That sounded reasonable enough, so they didn’t stay long and left the hospital.
