He Gave Her My Eyes A Story of Final Sight novel Chapter 249

Teresa’s face turned pale. She wobbled on her feet, reaching out to steady herself against the wall.

She took a moment, then spoke in a low voice. “Is the surgery dangerous?”

The doctor nodded, looking serious. “It’s very dangerous. No one at our hospital can do it. If you want the safest option, you’d have to get Dr. Israel involved. But as far as I know, he hasn’t done any surgeries since he retired early. You could give it a shot though.”

Teresa didn’t know much about medicine, so she called Helena right away.

She asked about Dr. Israel. Helena explained that he was a legend in the medical world, but five years ago, after his wife got seriously ill, he quit his job to take care of her. Since then, plenty of people had tried to get him to return, but no one had succeeded.

Helena didn’t seem hopeful. “Honestly, getting Dr. Israel to take this case is almost impossible.”

Teresa’s face stayed tense. “I still want to try.”

Helena let out a sigh. “I figured you wouldn’t give up easily. I’ll see if I can find his address. Wait for my message.”

“Alright.”

Helena was fast. Ten minutes later, she sent Teresa the address.

Teresa glanced at the message and frowned.

Veridian.

Dr. Israel was living in Veridian?

She pressed her lips together, then grabbed her phone and booked a flight out.

Her flight was that night. She hired a nurse to look after Janetta and asked Naomi to help out as well. By the time everything was set, it was already afternoon.
