Yvonne couldn't be bothered with her words. She waved her hand and instructed the bodyguards, "Take her to the police station. Tell them to make sure she never comes out."
Based on what Juniper dared to do to her, she shouldn't even think about getting out of there.
Juniper was dragged out. She didn't struggle, knowing it was useless.
When she was thrown into the car, she quietly took out her phone and called Julian Sterling.
But her ultimate goal wasn't for Julian to save her; she wasn't close to him.
She stared quietly at the floor.
The Saint family thought she was an easy target, and everyone in this elite circle wanted to step on her.
Lydia also treated her like a pushover.
She was going to show them that she was a lunatic.
Julian didn't expect Juniper to call him again. Just as he was about to ask what was going on, he heard her say, "Let me out!"
Julian practically bolted out of his chair. What was going on?
But the call ended. He immediately called Nelson.
Nelson was in a meeting and hung up.
Julian called again, and it was hung up once more.
Julian almost laughed out of sheer annoyance and called Quinn. "Tell Nelson that Juniper is in trouble."
Damn it!
He really didn't want to get involved in those two's drama. Love and all that was for idiots.
Quinn's eyelids twitched. He quickly pushed open the conference room door and strode over to Nelson's side.
He whispered to Nelson, and Nelson stood up instantly.
He walked out while dialing Juniper's number, but no one answered.
He had someone trace it and found that the signal was still in the city and very close to his location.
He got straight into his car and drove toward the police station.
When he arrived, he saw Juniper's hands handcuffed, and the two slap marks on her cheeks were glaringly obvious.
Nelson stopped in his tracks, a sharp pain piercing his chest.
He walked over quickly, pinched Juniper's face with one hand, and studied her for several seconds as rage boiled within him.
But he didn't snap at her. Instead, he asked the police and learned that Yvonne was pressing charges.
He took a deep breath and asked them to remove the handcuffs first.
The police were somewhat conflicted since the person who reported it insisted on pursuing the matter to the end.
Nelson was getting irritated. Suppressing his anger, he walked outside and called Yvonne.
Yvonne picked up. She guessed why Nelson was calling, her tone leaving no room for argument. "Don't even think about taking her away! Nelson, you better not act out. What happened with Josie has already made your grandfather very displeased, and Master Alaric has done his readings. If you keep contacting her, just wait for your grandfather to step in."
Nelson's eyes darkened. "Did you hit her?"
Yvonne furrowed her brow. She had never heard Nelson speak to her like this. She was his mother!
She scoffed. "So what if I hit her? Who does she think she is to lay a hand on me?! Two slaps were letting her off easy. You definitely can't bail her out this time!"
