"Rest assured, even if I can't save it in the end, I won't let you two take the hit. I will pay back every single cent you've put on the line for me!"
Julian patted him on the shoulder. "If we're stepping in to help, we're already prepared to take a hit."
"Let's not worry about the details right now. Just focus on your family."
Scarlett added softly, "Flynn Group may be struggling right now, but it's far from bankruptcy or needing an aggressive buyout."
"Just stay calm, clear your head, and you'll find a way through this. Good luck, Yardley."
With that, the two of them took little Dawn and walked away.
Yardley stood frozen, watching the three of them leave, his heart still tangled in knots.
Equally stunned were his three sisters. Melanie, in particular, looked as if she had been turned to stone, her expression one of utter bewilderment.
"Did I hear that right? They're actually willing to bail us out?" Melanie whispered in disbelief, only snapping out of her daze when Scarlett and Julian had completely disappeared from sight.
Clarissa Flynn looked deeply conflicted. "I never would have guessed that in our darkest hour, they'd be the ones to throw us a lifeline."
Catherine Flynn, however, appeared calm, her eyes reflecting quiet relief. "I'm not surprised. I've always known Scarlett has incredible integrity."
"Back when she was still part of this family, I was living abroad for years. But she always remembered me. Every holiday, she'd make sure I received care packages with local treats from home. I always assumed Mom was sending them, until I finally found out it was her all along."
