Leah rushed upstairs in a panic, hastily pulling on her clothes. Pushing the door open, she was shocked to see Yardley collapsed on the floor, and even more shocked to see Sylvia right beside him.

Seeing her unharmed and hearing her relaxed tone, Julian's tense expression finally softened. He stepped forward.

"As long as you're okay. I've never seen him act so unhinged. We were just about to call the cops, but Stellan stopped us, saying you had a way to handle it for now."

She looked at Julian, a hint of apology in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Julian. Tonight was supposed to be perfect, and I ruined it."

He smiled dismissively. "It doesn't matter. Your safety is what's important."

Suspicious, she asked, "Sylvia, why were you wearing a nightgown in Orchard Villa with my brother in the middle of the night? Were you two..."

A rapid blush spread across Sylvia's face. She lowered her head and stayed silent, but her expression said it all.

Corinne's world spun. "Oh my god, Sylvia... you... you and Yardley... you two..."

Sylvia's face flushed even deeper, her head burying so low that the redness crept all the way down her neck.
