The bass of the music throbbed through the villa, drowning out the outside world.
When Sylvia’s scorching body threw herself into his arms, separated by nothing but the thinnest slice of fabric, Yardley inhaled sharply.
He shoved her away with everything he had.
But Sylvia, thoroughly intoxicated, clung to him like a desperate vine. She used every ounce of her strength to wrap herself around him.
"Yardley, your body is incredible," she slurred. "I've... I've been wanting to touch it for so long!"
Liquid courage had completely obliterated whatever polite upbringing she had left. Her hands slid brazenly down his sculpted abs, drifting dangerously lower...
Yardley’s face turned a violent shade of green.
"Sylvia! Snap out of it!" he roared, forcefully ripping her off him. "What the hell is wrong with you?! I'm practically your brother!"
They grappled, their chaotic footsteps bringing them to the edge of the pool. At first, Yardley held back, not wanting to hurt her. But when her hands completely abandoned all decency and reached for his swim trunks, his patience snapped.
He planted a foot on her and kicked her straight into the pool.
With a bloodcurdling shriek, Sylvia hit the water, sending a massive splash into the air. She thrashed wildly, the freezing water finally shocking some sense into her hazy brain.
His expression dark, Yardley scanned his surroundings.
