"Flynn Group's foundation is solid," Julian continued. "Plus, with AM Capital backing you, you have a safety net. It's going to be rough, but if you play your cards right, you won't go bankrupt. Your biggest liabilities right now are your marriage to Veronica and the joint venture project with Thorne Industries. If you can sever those ties immediately—legally and financially—you can stop the bleeding."
Scarlett nodded in agreement. "Your only move is to execute a complete and total legal and financial separation from Veronica. Cut your losses and get out. Do not hold onto any false hope that she can help you. She's drowning, and all she'll do is drain Flynn Group's resources until she drags you under with her."
Yardley stood frozen, a storm of regret and panic raging inside him.
The memory of the prenuptial agreement he had signed under Quentin Thorne's intense pressure suddenly flashed in his mind, making him feel physically ill.
He was completely shackled to Thorne Industries, and he had absolutely no idea how to break the chains.
"You're saying I have to divorce Veronica immediately, no matter the cost? The faster, the better?"
Scarlett looked at him steadily. "I can only give you the information. You chose this path, and you have to be the one to decisively cut your losses. We're not here to offer legal counsel."
Yardley’s expression hardened. "Understood. I'll handle it myself. I won't ask for more."
He paused, his voice softening. "How is Dawn? I haven't seen her in so long. Could I just—"
Before he could finish, Scarlett shut him down.
"Dawn is perfectly fine. My mom and mother-in-law take wonderful care of her every single day."
"You need to focus on saving your company right now. Don't worry about Dawn."
Veronica let out a cold sneer. Her eyes locked onto Scarlett, flashing with surprise before instantly darkening into a toxic brew of raging jealousy.
She couldn't help but notice the dramatic transformation. In just a short time, Scarlett seemed to radiate an entirely new level of elite sophistication.
Her hair had grown out beautifully, and her wardrobe was leagues above what she used to wear. But what really made Veronica's blood boil was the realization that Scarlett's jewelry wasn't just expensive—it was exclusively crafted, limited-edition haute couture from top-tier international designers.
It was obvious that marrying Julian had placed her in the lap of absolute luxury. She had bagged a billionaire who spoiled her rotten, handing her everything a woman could ever dream of on a silver platter.
And then there was Veronica...
She glanced down at her own out-of-season designer dress, a bitter, sour taste flooding her mouth.
