"Sebastian," she said, her voice chillingly detached.
He fell silent, his dark eyes locking onto her face with a heavy, suffocating intensity.
He didn't offer a single word of defense. He just waited for her to deliver the final blow.
"We are completely finished. Do not call me, do not text me, and do not ever try to intertwine our lives again," she stated with absolute, brutal clarity.
"We died six years ago. We never should have opened this door again. Look at the absolute devastation we just caused her. Severing ties permanently is the only option left."
"As for our daughter, don't worry. She shares your blood, and I won't legally block you from seeing her. But visitation will only happen on her terms. If she wants to see you, fine. But I will have absolutely zero involvement."
The words spilled out of her in a rapid, exhausted rush. "And frankly, I am just so damn tired."
"Every second I spend with you, I am fighting a suffocating wave of disgust and resentment. Even if my body isn't physically reacting anymore, my mind is constantly screaming at me to run."
Her face was a completely emotionless mask as she rapidly tore down every remaining bridge between them.
"So this is where it officially ends. You go back to your billionaire empire, and I will go back to my quiet life."
"You can find some perfect, pliant woman to coddle your ego. And maybe I'll find someone who actually brings me peace."
"We will co-parent from a strict distance. As long as her mental health remains stable, I won't fight you on the logistics."
She laid out the uncompromising terms of their permanent separation.
This wasn't a hysterical, heat-of-the-moment rant. It was a cold, calculated, and final verdict.
Sebastian stared at her, absorbing the absolute finality of her words in deafening silence.
She didn't care that he had nothing to say.
She had delivered her terms, and she had exactly zero intention of sticking around for a debate.
Just as she turned her back to him, his gravelly voice finally shattered the silence. "Is this truly what you want?"
"Yes," she answered instantly, not even bothering to look over her shoulder.
A heavy pause hung in the air, but she remained rooted to the spot, waiting for his confirmation.
"If that is your final decision, I will respect it," he replied, his tone devoid of all its usual aggressive dominance.
She didn't know if she was shocked by his easy surrender or simply relieved.
She just stood there, letting his acceptance wash over her.
"I'll pack up Kyle and move back to Riverton tonight. I won't contact you again," he promised grimly. "You are completely free to live your life however you see fit. I won't interfere. As for our daughter, I will happily cover every single expense required for her upbringing."
