He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 182

"Sebastian!" Beau called out to him.

The butler frantically tried to hold Sebastian back. "Mr. Hayes, let me help you upstairs. The madam is pregnant..."

"I said, get the hell out!" Sebastian gritted out, word by word.

Without another thought, he threw the butler aside and cleared the distance to Helena in three large strides.

His large, unyielding hand clamped down on her wrist like a vice.

Fueled by alcohol, his grip was incredibly ruthless.

Helena broke out in a cold sweat from the pain as she was forced to turn and face him.

In his eyes, she saw a chilling, predatory warning.

"What, Mrs. Hayes thinks she can just wash her hands of me?" Sebastian scoffed.

He twisted her around roughly, showing absolutely no intention of letting go.

Riding on his drunken rage, he was practically dragging her across the floor.

Helena stumbled, her ankle twisting sharply.

She instinctively wrapped her free hand protectively around her stomach, terrified of losing the baby.

Sebastian's eyes were bloodshot; he looked as though he had completely lost his mind.

The staircase in the Hayes Estate was made of solid wood and lined with a thick carpet.

Even so, being dragged up the steps was excruciatingly painful.

Let alone the fact that Helena was pregnant.

"Mr. Hayes, the madam is pregnant..." the butler pleaded, watching in sheer terror.

Sebastian completely ignored him.

Beau frowned, his lips parting as if to intervene, but ultimately he said nothing. He turned and left the villa.

The house plunged into a stifling silence.

Helena tried desperately to brace herself, but she couldn't break free. She was practically hauled all the way back to the master bedroom.

She wanted to scream, but she didn't dare.

Because Wynn was staying on this same floor.

She was terrified of waking her brother, terrified of sending him into another downward spiral of panic.
