He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 359

Helena's guard skyrocketed.

She was certain Janetta was about to launch a physical attack on her baby.

But the words that spilled from Janetta's mouth left her entirely paralyzed.

"Helena, do you honestly think Wynn just had a little shock and is perfectly fine?"

Janetta glared at her, her voice dropping into a sinister, deliberate drawl.

Helena didn't utter a word.

But her heart immediately launched into a violent, hammering sprint against her ribs.

A suffocating knot of dread lodged in her throat, making it impossible to pull in a full breath.

The baby was fiercely connected to her emotions.

Sensing its mother's soaring terror, the little one began kicking frantically, despite the cramped space.

Helena was absolutely terrified.

Terrified of losing her child.

But even more terrified of whatever horrifying truth Janetta was about to unleash.

Janetta didn't give her a second to recover, flashing a macabre, victorious smile.

"That day, Wynn found out you became a murderer, that you hemorrhaged, and that you'd be thrown in prison the second you gave birth. He found out about the torture you endured at The Hayes Estate, and that your precious marriage to Seb was nothing but a sham. He realized you had been lying to him his entire life."

She delivered the words at a torturously slow pace, each syllable designed to shatter Helena's psyche.

"He knew you were trapped here because of him, with absolutely no way out. And he lost his mind."

Janetta let out a wicked laugh, recounting the horrific details as if she had watched it unfold with popcorn in hand.

Helena's fingernails dug brutally into her own palms.

"Oh, it was a beautiful sight. He couldn't breathe. His whole body turned purple. He gripped the bedrails so hard he couldn't let go. He wanted to scream for help, but what could a fool like him actually say?"

"And there wasn't a single soul around to save him. That's exactly how your precious brother choked out his final breath."

Janetta tossed out the final sentence as casually as if she were describing crushing a bug beneath her shoe.

"You're lying. I saw him with my own eyes. He was perfectly fine," Helena choked out, desperately fighting to maintain her grip on reality.

She knew exactly what would happen if she suffered a total emotional collapse right now.

She would lose the baby.
