Helena took a deep, shuddering breath, her eyes fluttering shut for a brief second.
"Come back with me!" Sebastian commanded curtly.
But in the next split second, Helena violently shoved him away. Caught off guard, he lost his grip on her.
"Sebastian, I don't want this baby anymore. And I want a divorce," she declared, her voice trembling with lethal finality.
This time, Sebastian was the one left reeling. He hadn't expected her to be so absolute.
But he quickly recovered, his lips twisting into a sinister sneer. "Because of Lance James? Or is it because this baby isn't even mine, and you've been sleeping with him this whole time? If we look at the timeline of your pregnancy, Lance actually was in town!"
As the thought crossed his mind, his words turned increasingly vicious and degrading.
"You're shameless!" Helena screamed.
The emotions she had been desperately suppressing erupted violently.
Sebastian refused to let her go. He grabbed her again, caging her in.
Every word that rumbled from the depths of his chest felt suffocating, dripping with lethal intent.
"You're the cheap one, Helena, not me. You don't get a say in what happens to this child. You will give birth to it. Once it's born, we'll do a DNA test, and then I'll settle the score with you!" Sebastian snarled.
Helena stared at him, her eyes rimmed red and burning with tears that she refused to let fall. Despite everything, she didn't utter a single word of surrender.
The tension between them reached a critical snapping point. All the crushing pressure and injustice she had endured over the past few days finally shattered her limits.
Suddenly, she collapsed right in front of him.
A terrifying amount of blood gushed from between her legs, far worse than the last time.
In that split second, Helena truly believed the baby was gone. She had fought so desperately to keep it safe, never imagining that the life she cherished would be reduced to a pawn in Sebastian's twisted games.
