But given his towering frame, she couldn't budge him.
Instead, she ended up trapping herself within his reach.
Caught between a rock and a hard place.
"I'll add cool water to it later, but you can't drink it ice-cold," he stated firmly.
"Mineral Water is at room temperature!" she argued.
"It's fall. Room temperature is chilly, that's just how the weather in Riverton is."
"Sebastian, let me go. I don't want it anymore."
She was genuinely getting anxious.
He just looked down at her, his gaze unwavering.
She was forced to look up at him.
His voice drifted over again. "Helena, are you avoiding me?"
It sounded like a question, but it was a statement of fact.
Her frown tightened.
"Why avoid me? It's not like we haven't slept together," he continued smoothly.
These shameless words came one after another.
Leaving her with absolutely no way to retort.
And because of his taunts, the tension between them thickened.
The suite wasn't small.
But it wasn't exactly massive, either.
The bedrooms were on either side, and the soundproofing wasn't flawless.
She didn't dare make too much noise, terrified of waking the kids.
But she could already smell the danger in his actions.
Ultimately, she was losing ground fast.
He backed her up relentlessly.
Until she was pinned flush against the wall.
His hand snaked around her waist, pulling her in.
Her entire body was pressed against his solid chest.
Her lips parted slightly, but in the next second, he crushed his mouth against hers, swallowing whatever she was about to say.
It was a deep, lingering kiss.
Descending from above.
He didn't give her a single chance to break free, claiming dominance inch by inch.
Fierce and direct.
She stared at him with wide eyes.
