He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 93

Faced with Helena's pointed question, Sebastian remained silent.

She didn't care. She simply stated her bottom line. "Those are my terms. If you can meet them, we won't divorce."

She was backing him into a corner, step by agonizing step.

For the first time in his life, Sebastian felt completely out of control.

The intense frustration gnawed at him, pushing him to the edge.

He stared her down, refusing to concede an inch. "We will discuss this when we get home," he commanded harshly.

Helena didn't move.

He reached out to grab her arm again.

At that exact moment, her phone buzzed in her pocket. The screen lit up with Lance James's name.

Sebastian's expression instantly turned murderous.

Helena immediately realized what had happened. When Susan, the caretaker, stepped out earlier, she must have panicked and texted Lance.

Naturally, Lance was calling to make sure she was safe.

But of all times, Sebastian had to be standing right there.

She had no intention of answering, desperate to avoid making things worse.

Sebastian, however, had other plans. Before she could react, he snatched the phone from her hand.

"Give that back! It's my phone!" she gasped, her eyes widening in panic.

Without thinking, she lunged at him to wrestle it away.

A struggle ensued.

But given the sheer difference in physical strength, she stood no chance against him.

Sebastian had already answered the call. Lance's frantic voice spilled through the speaker. "Lena, where are you? I'm sending Ronan Chase to pick you up right now. Don't worry about me. Sebastian can't touch me. Just go with Ronan."

Lance was entirely innocent in this. If his life was ruined because he tried to help her, she would never forgive herself.

In a desperate bid, she grabbed Sebastian's arm, trying to yank the phone away.

Seeing her fight him so fiercely to protect another man only fueled his blazing fury.

He abruptly ended the call and violently hurled the phone against the wall. The screen shattered into pieces upon impact.

With a lightning-fast motion, he grabbed her wrist, his grip so tight it instantly left deep red marks. The pain was agonizing.

He forcefully yanked her forward, hauling her flush against his chest.

They were practically nose-to-nose.

She could feel the rapid, furious heat of his breath, sensing the sheer, explosive violence rolling off him in waves.

His hot breath fanned across her face as he leaned in, his threatening whisper echoing menacingly in her ear.
