He Waited She Wilted (Ottilie and Yorath) novel Chapter 167

If he broke her legs before taking her...

He would never get to feel those legs wrapped tight around his waist.

Heath stood up and sauntered over to her.

"Is this how you beg, Ms. Sewell? Didn't Mr. Fordham ever teach you how a woman should submit to a man?"

"You're standing so far away. How am I supposed to beg?"

Her voice took on an airy, delicate quality.

It wasn't overly seductive, but it hooked his soul instantly.

"Then beg."

"I beg you... please don't break my legs. I'll do anything," she pleaded, her voice cracking with manufactured tears.

Heath dropped to his knees on the twig-strewn ground and reached out to stroke her face.

Instead of tears, his fingers brushed against the swollen welt from where he had struck her.

It was hot to the touch.

His heart hammered wildly in his chest. He couldn't help but think how incredibly satisfying it felt to brutalize a woman like her.

Having lived in the gutter for so long, his mind was entirely twisted.

There was a long list of playthings who had met their end in his bed.

Naturally, their families had tried to cause a scene.

But the moment the payout was large enough, they happily took the cash and vanished without a trace.

He was a sadist, long bored of submissive, willing women.

Ottilie was the only one who had kept him violently obsessing for three whole years.

"You still don't know how to please a man. Let me show you."

His hand slipped from her cheek to her throat, yanking her upper body forward.

"Kneel."

She knelt.

"Undo my belt."

She reached out to unbuckle it.

Even through the fabric, he could feel the brush of her fingertips.

It sent a sudden, electric jolt straight to his groin.

Everyone in the cave clearly heard him swallow hard.

With a sharp click, the metal buckle gave way.

Having barely eaten for days, the brief surge of survival instinct quickly faded, leaving her completely drained.

Her pursuers were just seconds away.

With nowhere left to run, she scrambled up a massive tree.

Below, the men swarmed the area. "Where is she?"

"I don't know!"

"She couldn't just vanish. She has to be hiding nearby."

They clicked on their heavy-duty flashlights, sweeping the beams through the darkness.

They jabbed their sticks into the dense brush.

"She's not on the ground. Think she climbed a tree?"

"She grew up in the countryside," one man noted. "She's an expert tree climber."

Instantly, the blinding beams of the flashlights shot upward, slicing through the canopy.

The harsh light hit Ottilie's eyes, momentarily blinding her.

Her entire body went rigid as she clung desperately to the trunk.

She was about to be spotted...
