Her Revenge Was His Regret (Shirley and Gilbert) novel Chapter 405

"It's definitely you."

Lucas stepped closer, his thumb brushing gently over Sherry's cheek.

He'd rushed over as fast as he could, but Sherry had still gotten hurt. He'd held back his rage only because Sherry had fought hard on her own, held nothing back, and now knew her own limits and weaknesses.

"What do I do if I like a woman who loves to throw down?"

Sherry's face flushed bright red. She nudged him lightly and muttered under her breath, "If this gets out, people will call us a pair of sinners."

There was always someone online hearing about it for the first time.

"How would you like us to handle her, Mr. Harrison?"

Lucas' security team was tall, imposing, and intimidating—way overkill for a peaceful country.

"Use the second, physical punishment. As for the first one..." Lucas let out a cold laugh. "Might as well be rewarding her."

It was obvious just by looking at her.

She'd taken pleasure in watching thugs torment women, her face twisting with disgust and envy at the mere mention of them.

"No wonder she talks like that," Sherry said with a mocking smile. "She's jealous these women get to live as wealthy socialites while she..." She paused, her voice sharp. "Typical case of if I can't have it, I'll destroy it. She's completely twisted."

"Bullshit! I don't envy bitches like you at all! Aah!" Eileen screamed as she was pinned down tightly.

The grip was so rough it nearly made her spit blood. "I was only following Mr. Bode's orders! What gives you the right to treat me like this?!"

Pain only feels real when it's your own skin in the game. She wasn't even truly scared yet.

"Don't worry. He might not be able to keep you company, but one of the people he cares about most will."

If Gilbert ended up in a place like this, the facility would be raided the next day and the fun would be over. There was someone far more fitting.

"Let go of me! Do you know who I am?! I'm the daughter of the Bode family! Lay a finger on me and my brother will destroy every last one of you!"

Cathy was dragged into the room.

"Sherry, how are you still standing here? You should be—"

Lucas cut in coldly, "My team just finished looking into it. This woman's been pulling strings behind the scenes. That electric chair over there? She had them crank the voltage way up."

His face darkened at the thought.
