‘Austin, he’s here.’ I say through the mind link.

‘I saw him. Keep your mind link open, darling. I’m coming.’ He says.

“I will never be your Luna, asshole.” I spat.

“I’m going to enjoy making you mine, Rebel. You won’t feel the same way once I’m inside of you. You are going to become my Luna and you are going to give me my heir. Then you are going to have Alpha Reid hand over Rising Moon.” He tells me.

“Bless your heart. I would say it’s a good thing you’re pretty, but you’re not, so you don’t even have that going for you.” I say mockingly, “First, you are disgusting. Not only are you incapable of sparking any arousal from me, but you think I will become your Luna. You think I am going to let you mark me, let alone rape me? You must be a comedian, because that’s hilarious. Oh, and by the way, I’m not baring any pup of yours, nor am I helping you take over my grandfather’s pack.” I finish.

“Oh, you will. Because if you don’t, I will have Austin executed. See, he is already in my custody. Either you renounce him as your mate and accept me as your alpha and mate, or I will kill him and make you mine anyway.” He says, as if I don’t know my mate is waiting for Morgana to leave.

‘I’m fine darling.’ Austin says through the mind link. I guess he wanted to reassure me.

I have to pretend like I don’t know he is waiting outside to attack. I get angry and start growling at him, “You liar!”

“I promise, I’m not. He will die. The choice is yours.” He says with a smirk on his face. He thinks he won. He hasn’t, he just doesn’t know that yet.

I needed to sell this to get him to send Morgana out and for me to get him alone so I can start my escape. I start to think of what my life without Austin would be like. I felt heartbroken and alone. Not having his love ever again sent a pain to my heart that it made my eyes started watering. “Fine,” I whispered, “Swear to me, nothing will happen to Austin. Swear you will leave him and Blackstone Pack alone and I will become yours.’

“Good girl.” He said, sounding triumphant. Fuck asshole. He has no idea what I will do to him, “He pulls my chin up and I let the tears fall out. I swear no harm will come to him or his pack.”

He thumbs over my nipple and makes me shiver with revulsion. “Morgana, leave us.”

She looks over at us and starts to rise from the bed. “Sure thing. I don’t want to see you fuck her. I’ll be at the pack. I’ll come back in a few hours to teleport you both back home. Or did you want me to wait until the morning?” She laughs.

Kaden licks his lips. He’s fucking vile. “Wait until morning. I’m going to enjoy my Luna, where no one can hear or reach her.”

“Okay then. Have fun you two.” Morgana says. She opens a portal and steps through it. Once she closes the portal, I mind link Austin.

‘Morgana is gone.’

Then he crashes his lips on mine and as he tries to forces my mouth open. Instead, I bite down on his bottom lip hard. “Argh! You bitch!” He snarls.

He hits me across the face. I feel blood in my mouth and spit it out. He grabs me by my hair and throws me to the ground and hits me again before kicking me in my stomach.

I snap the rope and Roxie pulls a shift before Kaden can react. She bites into his arm and starts mauling him. What we didn’t expect was for Kaden to pull out a silver knife. He jams it into my side and Roxie howls at the pain. We may not be affected by silver, but not to cuts and it’s deep. I pull the shift back and claw at Kaden. “You bastard! You think I would ever submit to you!” I scream out.
