‘Rebs, you should slowly cut through the rope.’ Roxie says.

‘I don’t want to cut through it completely Roxie. Just enough that I can snap the rest on my own. I need an element of surprise. Let Morgana and Kaden think I’m tied up.’ I tell her.

‘Have you heard from Austin?’ Roxie asks.

‘No.’ I said.

‘Why not try reaching out to him again?’ she says.

I open my mind link up again. Trying hard to reach Austin or someone from the pack. I feel something, but it’s faint. I don’t think it’s enough to reach someone though.

‘Rebs, send another message out to Austin. Maybe he will hear you this time.’ My wolf tells me.

I listen to my wolf. I send out another message. ‘Austin, if you can hear me, when Kaden gets here, Morgana will leave us here by ourselves. I have a plan to escape. I love you.’

Almost immediately, I feel the faint connection strengthen. ‘REBEL! BABY I’M COMING! DON’T WORRY.’

‘AUSTIN! LISTEN, MORGANA IS HERE. DON’T ENTER UNTIL KADEN GETS HERE AND SHE LEAVES. YOU RISK

HER TELEPORTING ME SOMEWHERE ELSE. KEEP WATCH!’

‘REBEL! I CAN’T LEAVE YOU THERE! SHE HAD YOU WRAPPED WITH SILVER ROPE! ARE YOU INJURED?’

“Silver doesn’t affect me. Another gift, I think. Roxie and I have a plan but, it will only work when Morgana leaves. Please trust me, Austin. Hang back until Morgana leaves.’ I plead.

‘You will be in my line of sight. I will not leave you, darling! Keep the mind link open so I can hear what’s going on when he gets there.’ Austin orders.

‘Of course, I will babe.’ I say to him.

‘We are about twenty minutes out baby. I’m coming as fast as I can.’

I can hear the fear and nervousness in his voice. I understand because I am nervous too. I need Morgana to leave. She already said she was leaving after Kaden gets here, so I have to wait.

After a while, Austin mind links me to tell me he is in position. He said it would take a few minutes to cross over and reach me once Morgana left. Which means I will need to keep him talking or full on fight him until Austin gets here. We have to wait until Morgana has truly left. I only hope she teleports out and Austin can come quickly.

I’m sure I could take Kaden on myself, but my body is tired. Between the fighting and being tied up for such a long time and sitting in the same position has numbed my body in some parts. I might be able to fight through pain, but I can’t fight when I don’t have enough strength in my limbs. This thought makes me nervous. I try flexing my feet and hands, trying to get circulation flowing.

When the sun starts to set, I start feeling a chill enter the cave. I’m shivering and feeling numb. I feel my teeth clattering. ‘Austin, are you okay? It’s cold in here.’

‘I’m fine darling. I’m sitting here waiting. It’s starting to get dark.’ He says.

Chapter 115

“Well, you are still here, Rebel. I would have thought you would have tried to escape.” Morgana speaks.

“I’m wrapped in silver rope. I’m also cold. It’s getting dark and there is a chill in here. Kaden brought a bed in. this hell hole. Isn’t there a blanket I can use? I’m sure you don’t want me dying of illness for Kaden’s plan to work, right?” I snap.

“You’re right. He should be here soon.” She stretches before reaching for a blanket and throwing it on me.

At least I’m somewhat covered. My breasts are exposed and my nipples are taut from the chill. I’m trying hard to keep my nerves at bay. I just need to hold on a little longer.

As I am repeating this mantra to myself, I hear noise from the outside. Morgana is quick to step in front of me. I’m not sure how to fight a witch, so I don’t break free to launch myself at her.

“It’s about damn time.” She says, with clear irritation in her voice, “What took you so long?”
