His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 160

Chapter 160

I let a little moan escape me and he chuckles, “I plan on having you tonight. I’ll serve you up on a platter myself, darling.”

Just as I’m about to respond, Renz walks in, “Can you two please get a room?”

I laugh and Austin cuts Renz a look like he wants to murder him. “What is it Renz?”

“Mary and the other two omegas are at the gate. I thought you might like to greet them when they get here.”

I jump at his words, “Yes, please! Can you have two or three of the omega men help get their things? Meet us at the entrance.”

Renz smiles at me, “Sure thing Luna.”

Alpha follows me to the front entrance while I am munching on a bacon strip. He is chuckling at me. “What?” I

ask.

“The boys must really want bacon.” He says.

“Never get in the way of a hungry, pregnant woman and food. You are liable to lose a hand, Alpha.” I say smirking.

“Understood, my Luna.” He said with his hands up.

As we wait for our new pack members to arrive, I get an uneasy feeling in my chest. Austin senses it, “Darling, what’s wrong?”

“I’m not sure. I just feel uneasy. Like someone is watching me.”

Austin instinctively holds my waist. “I’m not letting anything happen to you. You stay by my side anywhere and everywhere we go.” I feel his nerves getting to him. We have been through so much in a few months, that it could last a lifetime.

I place my hand on his chest. “No matter what, remember I love you, Austin. We will get through everything together. Okay?”

“I know, darling.” He says, kissing the top of my head.

I see the omega men I asked Renz to get come out. Michael is among them. He hasn’t been the same since Ceraline. He’s been withdrawn and focused on work. I know the Moon Goddess doesn’t forget those of us who have been wronged, but I still think he may be hurt that Ceraline found a second chance mate and he is still alone. Ceraline left for Rising Moon with Dominic and according to my grandmother, they are happily in love and doing well.

As the SUVS pull up, followed by a moving truck, I see the omega men step up to start helping unload the SUV. When the SUV door opens, I see the first two omegas step out. On the other side, the other SUV door opens and Mary comes out. She makes her way towards me but stops. Her eyes widen and her mouth slightly parts. I’m about to reach out to her to ask her what’s wrong when I hear Michael, “Mate.”

He’s standing there, looking at the back of Mary’s head. He looks scared. Poor Michael. He must be fearing the worst. However, Mary turns around slowly and sees Michael. She slowly smiles and quietly calls out, “Mate.”

The waterworks are about to start for me again as I see them approach each other. Michael holds her waist and kisses her and she wraps her arms around his neck and submits to him willingly. When he pulls away, I see him smile for the first time in what feels like ages. Mary has a happy tear running down her cheek and I see them talking quietly to each other. The other two omegas are holding each other’s hands watching this display of instant love unfold before them.

I turn to my mate smiling, “Babe, I think we may need to find these two a small cottage. I don’t think they will want to be apart.”

“I already told Renz and Jessup. We will talk to Michael afterwards. Let’s give them some privacy for now.” He

says.

“Michael,” I call out. He snaps out of his trance and his cheeks turn red. I smiled knowingly at him, “Perhaps, you should show Mary to her room. Austin, Renz and Jessup will talk to you afterwards about different accommodations for you and your mate.” I smile.

“Yes, Luna.” He says quickly, smiling at Austin and me.

“One other thing, Michael. Mary helped save my life. Treat her well, or you will answer to me.” I say smiling.

“I’ll treat her like a queen, Luna. You have my word.” He says seriously.

My, oh, my, he is in love already.
