Once everything was settled, Mary left, practically jumping for joy that her sister would be coming here. She already said she wants to have an afternoon with her when she gets here to spend time with her and help her get settled. I love seeing siblings that love each other. Austin changes into some rugged jeans and a flannel shirt and steel toed boots. My mouth starts drooling when I see him come out of the closet and it’s followed by intense lust and desire. My Goddess, does he look hot.

I lick my lips and then bite my lower lip, “Damn Austin, you look like one hell of a feast that I know I’m going to enjoy later. I hope you don’t keep me waiting to long.”

His eyes darken and he slowly walks over to me and pushes me against the wall. “Is my mate, hungry?”

“Yes, and I don’t eat alone, my alpha.”

He growls at me and then his eyes glaze over. When it comes back into focus, he looks like he is trying to hold on to his restraint, “That was Renz. He’s waiting for me.” He kisses me passionately and deeply before pulling away, “But we will definitely pick this back up later, little minx.”

“You’re not resting tonight, my alpha.” I tell her and his nostrils flair at the scent of my arousal.

“Fuck, you are so sexy, baby. I have to go, but I am coming back as fast as I can.” He says before kissing me one more time and leaving.

After he leaves, it takes a few minutes for me to calm down. I make my way to the nursery to spend some time with the boys. As we are playing and Mary joins in the fun to watch the boys squeal with laughter, which is the most adorable sound in the world, we both feed Aiden and Reid and then change their diapers. Apparently, food, burping and a clean diaper are all they need to fall asleep again. I leave as Mary starts picking up the soiled clothes and diapers to dispose of properly and I tell her I am going to the library to read for a while.

As I make my way to the library, Dr. Hadley sends me a mind link. ‘Luna, if you are not too busy, I would like to speak with you.’

‘Sure. Do you want me to get Austin as well?’

‘No. I’d like to speak with you first, if that’s okay.’

‘I’ll be there in a few minutes. Is everything okay?’

‘Yes, Luna. Unexpected circumstances, that I need to discuss with you.’

‘Alright, I’m on my way.’

My guard is following me to the pack house, and I mind link Austin to let him know I will be there as Dr. Hadley wants to speak to me, but not to worry because nothing is wrong with me. I also mind link Mary, to let her know I needed to step out for a little while, but that I will be back.
