Chapter 306
Diego POV
“I have to hand it to you, Blanca.” I sneered, “I really believed you knew nothing. Not only do you know that they were leaving but you know where they are.”
Blanca’s face is turning into another color, but frankly, I don’t give a shit. She is a fucking traitor. She will be begging for mercy that won’t be granted. “Diego, you never cared about Thalia’s happiness or Mia s.” She choked out.
I dropped her and glared at her. “You think we became successful because of happiness?! You think everything is rainbows and fucking unicorns, Blanca? It’s not. I have to make tough decisions and sometimes those decisions require sacrifice!”
She slowly gets up and this time she squares her shoulders off to me and I see something snap in her eyes. “I know all about sacrifice, Diego. While you were getting drunk and fucking other women for business’, I was here, unable to leave, unable to work, unable to do anything. I have always been at your mercy, and I accepted it. But I wasn’t going allow you to ruin any other lives. Especially Thalia’s. That girl has been through enough, or do you forget?!” She screamed. “She finally has a chance to be happy, and I won’t let you take that from her!”
My eyes darken, “Are you threatening me, Blanca? Do you think you have what it takes to defeat me and the family?”
“I may not have the strength to fight you, but I have more power than you realize, Diego.”
CRACK! My hand comes down hard on her face. “ENOUGH! TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE!”
She starts laughing, her teeth full of blood. Eat shit, Diego.”
I slap her hard again and she stumbles back and laughs, “I can see that you need to be worn down. I have spoiled you too much. Guards!” I yell.
“Yes, Don Diego.”
“Take her to the basement. Tie her to the chair. Wear her down. She knows where Thalia and Mia are hiding. If she still doesn’t talk, then find some men that will fuck it out of her roughly.” I said looking at Blanca, whose expression is stone cold. There is no emotion on her face at all. “You will see how traitors get treated, firsthand.”
She walks past me, when she gets to the door, she stops and turns around, “By the way, Diego. I have one last thing to say.”

“What the fuck is it now? Scared already? Ready to talk?” I smiled evilly.
“No. I, Blanca Moreno, a wolfless omega, reject you, Diego Moreno, as my mate.”
The bond completely shatters in my chest, and I’m bent over clutching it and looking at Blanca, who is still serene and calm. I’m in excruciating pain and she is still like a statue. “Get her the fuck out of here! Beat her within an inch of her life
until she talks.” I screamed.
The guards took her and she walked away with them. Meanwhile, I’m throwing everything in the room into chaos. First, because of the pain I am feeling. I never thought she would reject the bond. I was only trying to scare her and make her submit. She has never been this defiant.
Second, I need to find the phone she used. I need the last number to track the call. I heard her talking to Mia. I may not know what was being said on the other end, but I know I heard her talking to my daughter. I will bring her back. I want to either have her take over the family business or I will marry her off to the Ortega heir. He is a little older, but he is interested in her. She’s never been touched and if she gets her wolf and finds her mate, I won’t be able to marry her off to strengthen the family. The Ortega’s have air carriers, and they transport all kinds of products. I could use that to my benefit. Mia is compliant enough though. Once I find her, she will do what I say.
Thalia will be an issue though. Armando still wants her. Granted, he doesn’t know she is fucking damaged goods and won’t be able to bear him any kids, but once they are married, it’s no longer my problem. Still, I will need to teach that insolent little bitch a lesson. I had the misfortune of having to raise her. She should be grateful I found someone willing to marry and bed her, so I will make sure she is punished severely for embarrassing me and the Reyes family so publicly.
