Thalia POV

My little sister is mated. She is mated to an Alpha too! I want to cry. She can leave and have her own pack and be the Luna there. She can study and be a doctor and she will be in the right pack to grow. I am happy for her, but I am still crying because my sister is going to leave me in a couple of days now.

Aiden sees me crying and pulls me into his arms. What’s wrong baby?”

“She’s mated and she is going to leave me.” I said and Aiden chuckled.

He kisses me gently, “Mojito, you know this is what happens. She is going to be a Luna will be protected by an entire pack. I see Isaiah’s shoulder slump. They are not mated. “Okay. I should go and congratulate her then.”

Aiden walks up to Isaiah and puts his hand on his shoulder, “I know you are disappointed, bro. But we cannot question the Moon Goddess’ will, now, can we?”

“Hang in there. Your mate is coming.” Aiden said “If Thalia and I came together, against a lot of odds, then you will find your mate too, bro.”

“I’m going to go.” said Isaiah sadly.

After he left, Aiden tells me that after dinner, we are talking to Dr. Higslee and Alpha Luca about my injuries. Tio and Mia will be there too. I have never really said anything to Mia about my past. I know that is going to be hard for her to hear. She also hasn’t seen my wolf yet.

I voiced my concerns to Aiden about his status already. I haven’t seen Tina around and it almost makes me think she is scheming against us, and we just haven’t been paying attention. Honestly though, there are other things more pressing than her right now. Plus, if there is something that Tio and Dr. Higslee can do, then Tina would become a non-issue.

After dinner, we headed to Aiden’s office. Dr. Higslee and Tio are talking to each other, and Alpha Luca and Mia are walking behind them, holding hands and whispering to one another.

Then after a second attack, it could have been completely out of reach. Couple that with the Henbane pills she was given at fifteen, her odds don’t look good. Especially since she was without her wolf.” He began as he was stating facts. “However, now Thalia has shifted. Not only has she shifted, but her wolf is unique and comes from an ancient blood line.”

Mia looked at me, “An ancient blood line, hermana?”

I looked at her. “Yeah. I don’t know how, but the Shadow Maw Pack is the only known pack with wolves like Nyx.”

Dr. Higslee sat up quickly, “Shadow Maw you say?”

Aiden perks up, “You have heard about it?”

solution to your issue. I would need you to shift though.’

“Are you aware your wolf can separate from you physically? If that happens, if Nyx would allow it, then I could draw blood from her. Then I could, in theory, create medication to reverse the silver damage.”
