“Luna, Dr. Moreno and I worked all night. We are sorry for coming in the afternoon.” Dr. Higslee started, “However, we managed to synthesize Nyx’s blood and create the formula based on my research. If you like, we can go to the hospital to try it and see if it works.”

“Yes, please!” I said. Excited to see if I can be completely healed.

Aiden is right beside me grabbing my hands. “Dad, we will talk after about my plans.”

“Of course. You know where to find me.” Then Austin looks at Canary and Sin, “Kaia and Sinclair, perhaps you both should come to the training facility with Rebel and me. We would like to see how much of a foundation you have and where we need to start once you

transition.”

At the pack hospital, Aiden and I are in a hospital room. We have an IV hooked up to me. Tio took some blood and was showing Mia how to search for veins. Luca was also following along.

“We have to administer the medication to you through the IV line, Luna.” Dr. Higslee said.

Dr. Higslee then added, “Luna Mia is correct. I manage to isolate the compounds for the Methylene blue from the Chemiluminescence, which is what was making the blood glow. From there, your uncle and I started working on the formula. I won’t bore you with the details, but the additional compounds added to the formula is meant to enhance the ability to heal the wound, or in this case the scar. If it does we can run some tests to see if it healed everything reproductively as well.”

Aiden squeezed my hand and I can feel his anticipation to see if this works. I take a deep breath. “Let’s proceed then.” I said.

Dr. Higslee nodded and asked Mia to inject it into the IV. She looked at me and smiled, before administering it into the IV line. Once it was completed, Tio spoke up, “Now, we wait. If the scar goes away, we start running tests.”

“If it doesn’t go away?” Aiden asked.

“We will still run tests to see if there were any changes, and if not, we try again.”
