I have been studying the layout of Blackstone. I’ve made plans on how to infiltrate that pack and where to go to find my ungrateful daughters. Dave enters my office, “Don Diego, I have procured the artillery you asked for, and it should be here in two days.”

“Good. Were there any issues with the products?” I asked.

“No. We were able to make the modifications necessary.”

“Good. We leave in three days then. Get everyone ready. Dismissed.” I said when my phone

rang.

“Don Diego.” I said.

“Don Diego, it’s Armando. What updates do you have?”

“I’ve located them both. I am heading out in three days to retrieve them. By end of next week, we will be back on track.” I said.

“I would like to come with you.” Armando said.

“No. I will give you the location, however, let me go first. If you don’t hear from me by the end of this week, something has happened and you can come as back up.” I said.

“Thalia is my fiancé. I should be there.”

“I understand, Armando. But the situation is delicate. I need you to trust me. I have supported the two of you marrying from the beginning.” I said.

“Very well. If I don’t hear from you by Friday, I will be heading to your location”

“Understood.” I said and hung up. I then sent a pin to the location where Thalia and Mia are hiding.

I invited my parents into the hospital room to be included in the conversation with Dr. Higslee and Raul. Everyone was shocked to learn that Thalia and I are not just gifted, but we can share our gifts with each other.

Then my father spoke up, “You need to start training with these new gifts, son. Especially, with you being bigger, you need to make sure you move your wolf in a way to accommodate what you are trying to accomplish efficiently.”

I hadn’t thought about that, but he is right. If I don’t start training soon, I could find myself vulnerable. Then how would I be able to protect Thalia and the pack?

We all continued talking about next steps for training, setting up a Luna Ceremony and we lightly mention a ceremony for the warriors without mentioning the blood pact, since it’s only for ranked members and warriors.

After another thirty minutes, we the IV is done of Thalia’s arms. Everyone steps out of the room and the only ones left is Thalia, Raul, Dr. Hslee, and me.

“First things first, Luna. Let’s looks at the gash and see if there is any difference.” Dr. Higslee

said.

Thalia lifted her shirt and pulled down her leggings slightly. Dr. Higslee and Raul both look. surprised and disappointed. I look at where the gash should be, but instead of it being harsh and bumpy, it’s a faint line and her skin is smooth. It looks healed but the remnants are still

there.

I look at both doctors. “Does this mean it worked?” I asked.

“We need to run tests now. Then we can figure out if it truly worked.” Raul said.

Thalia looks deep in thought. “What’s on your mind mojito?”

“Part of me was hoping the scar would be completely gone. I won’t erase what happened to me, but at least if wouldn’t be a constant reminder.” She said.

My heart constricts hearing her words. “I told you I would kiss your scars every day until your forget, mojito. I mean it too.” I said as I held her bands.

Dr. Higslee puts some kind of gel on Thalia’s stomach and then grabs a wand-looking stick. Raul is standing behind him, and he asks us if we know how these things work.

“Um. No.” Thalia said quietly, looking nervous.

Raul explains how the wand sends signals to the abdomen and then it returns images. The images will tell them what is going on inside of Thalia. After that brief explanation, Dr. Higslee begins his examination.

“Hmmm…” He says.
