His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 339

Chapter 339

Tina POV

I walk into the pack house and I see Aiden and Thalia walking out with huge smiles. Behind them is Aiden’s family and Mia and her mate. Even the sister is mated to an Alpha. It’s driving me insane. How is it that these two, rogues, are mated to Alphas? Because essentially, that is what they are, rogues. They didn’t belong to a pack before coming here.

I see Gamma Rory, excited and I hear her say, “Our pups will be around the same age. That’ll be great when they start school. All my nieces and nephews are in other packs. It will be great to have some here with my pups.”

The color from my face drains. Is Thalia pregnant? No. This can’t be. I heard Dr. Moreno explain it. She had less than one percent of a chance to have a pup.

“It’s all so exciting. I can’t believe we are pregnant.” Thalia said confirming everything.

What the hell am I going to do now? She can’t have this pup. This ruins everything I’ve set in

motion.

I walk up to Aiden and Thalia, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help overhearing. Are you truly pregnant, Luna?” I asked.

Aiden’s eyes look at me coldly. “Yes. Your Luna is pregnant with twin pups.” He said, holding her waist proudly.

“Well, the Moon Goddess is certainly looking kindly on you, Luna. Congratulations.” I said.

Thalia holds Aiden’s hand that is on her waist. “Thank you, Tina.” She said quickly and then turned to Aiden. “Should we make the announcement in the dining hall now?”

“Yes, and we will announce your Luna Ceremony as well, mojito.” Aiden said and then turned his eyes on me coldly, “Excuse us.”

They walk ahead to the dining hall and I follow behind everyone else, since I was heading in that direction anyway. Aiden announces Thalia’s pregnancy and the dining hall erupts with joy and cheers. It should have been me they cheer. It should have been me as their Luna. Instead they cheer this bitch.

I will get rid of her. She won’t be able to hold her head up high by the time I’m done with her.

Blanca POV

I am finally out of the basement. I’m in my room A couple of maids helped me bathe, since I had no strength to do it myself. I saw my reflection in the mirror. My face is badly beaten. I have a gash on my cheek and it will leave an ugly scar.

I was never a great beauty, but now I look deformed. Compliments of my ex-mate. That

bastard doesn’t know what he did. 1 lock my door and sit in the corner of my bed and act like I’m crying. I don’t believe for a moment that Diego doesn’t have a live feed in my room. So every move I do will need to be deliberate.

Beside me is the vent. I angle my body so a camera will not see my movements. I open the vent quietly and slowly bring my phone up. Once in my hand, I tuck it inside my bra, even though it’s painful. My ribs haven’t healed yet. I close the vent and slowly get up. The slowness unfortunately isn’t something I am faking. I’m weak and in a lot of pain. I haven’t eaten a proper meal in weeks, surviving on a piece of bread and water each day.

There is a knock at the door and my heart starts racing. “Who is it?” I ask on the other s

the door.

“Ma’am, I was asked to bring you food.”

I close my eyes and open the door. I peak my head out and I see one of the servants with a cart and a pitcher of water.

“Don Diego said you needed to eat a proper meal before leaving on your trip with him.” She said and I detected no insincerity. It tracks though. Diego wants to keep me weak enough that I am example to Thalia and Mia. I let her bring the food in and she leaves. I lock the door again and sit to eat. It is just broth and bread. Considering I haven’t eaten in such a long time, this

feels like a feast.

I drink the broth and eat the bread. I drink the water. Then I move to my bed and lay down with the covers over my head. I very carefully pull the phone out and turn it on. I dial a number. A number I haven’t dialed in a very long time. A number I don’t even know if it still

works.

I hit the call button and wait. Four rings later, a voice I haven’t heard in a long time. “Hello?”

“It’s Blanca.”
