Thalia POV

My head is spinning at the words that my Tio and Dr. Higslee just said to me. Pregnant with twins. “How?” That is the only thing I’m able to ask.

‘Nyx? Was this your doing?’

‘No. I can’t explain it either. I didn’t even sense you were pregnant.’

“Maybe Nyx healed you more than you realized, mojito.” Aiden said, smiling. He is excited.

“No. She said she didn’t even sense I was pregnant.” I said. I look at my Tio, “Are you sure?”

Dr. Higslee flips the monitor towards me and points, “Those two dots floating around are your twins. I would say you are about three weeks along, Luna.”

Three weeks? That means I would have gotten pregnant around the time Mia shifted. I look at Aiden and whisper, “The after party?”

Aiden smirked and then it slowly turned into a wide smile. “That was a fantastic night.’ He said in the mind link

“That means it was all you, guapo. I didn’t get Nyx until after.’ I said and winked at him. In the mate bond I felt Aiden puff up his chest with pride. Clearly, he is proud of himself.

‘Damn right I am. I exploited that ‘less than one percent chance’ your uncle said.’ He said smugly and it made me laugh out loud.

Both Dr. Higslee and my Tio are looking at Aiden’s smug face and they chuckled. “It would appear that Aiden was determined to give you everything you want, Thalia.” Tio said.

I blushed and Aiden chuckled. “It’s okay, mojito. We are mates.”

Then Aiden looks at my Tio, “Raul, I remember what you said before. Is her womb still the same? Does she need to be on bed rest?”

All of a sudden, Dr. Higslee snaps out of his thoughts and said, “Oh my! I completely forgot! Forgive me. I was distracted by the pregnancy itself. My apologies.” Dr. Higslee said and started looking at the monitoring the screen again. He and my Tio start saying medical terms I don’t understand. But by the end they both agreed and turned to Aiden and me.

“We don’t see the scarring on the uterus anymore. We believe that you will be able to carry to term. However, we feel that your ability to conceive in the future isn’t one hundred percent. It’s definitely better odds now though. We feel like your chances in the future are about seventy percent. Let’s see how things go with this pregnancy. But right now, we don’t see a need for bed rest.” Dr. Higslee said.

I started crying. I’m pregnant and it may not just be luck in the future. Aiden is smiling. He is ecstatic and I feel it in the mate bond. “Well, we will need to move your Luna Ceremony up,

For now, though, we should focus on the pregnancy and then revisit once Thalia gives birth. Perhaps that will give you both time to continue working on improving the formula?” He asked.

“Absolutely. I will work on my research with all the new information provided from this trip. I am also going to let Alpha Luca and Luna Mia know that we will be departing in the morning.” Dr. Higslee said.

Mia departing. That’s right. My sister is leaving for her new pack with her mate. I need to talk to her tonight. “Right, well we should get going. Since my sister will be leaving tomorrow, I will need to talk to her tonight.”

We said our goodbyes and headed to the pack house. Aiden mind linked his parents, Rory, Jonah, Isaiah, and Mia. I am guessing Luca will be there too. By the time we got to the pack house, they were all in the common room, waiting for us. I look up at Aiden and he is smiling. He hasn’t stopped smiling. Rebel looks at Rory, “Rory, let your brother speak.”

Aiden chuckles, “She can’t annoy me right now, mom. First, the formula Dr. Higslee and Raul came up with partially worked. Thalia’s scar is very faint, and the internal injuries are partially healed.”

Mia was the first to react. “Oh, my Goddess! Thalia, that’s great news! Dr. Higslee and Tio will tweak the formula. You will be completely healed in no time!” She said excitedly as she hugged

But Aiden interrupts again, “That’s going to have to wait a while though, Mia.”

“About three weeks and bed rest is not needed. The right ovary still isn’t healing, but the left ovary is about ninety percent healed and my worth is completely heale

Austin starts laughing. “That’s my son.” He said smugly.
