Thalia POV

After Mia left, I was a little bummed out. I’ve never not had her around. Aiden and I went to train and we really just worked out. Some light weights and cardio. I also continued with my knife throwing. I can’t ever lose sight of my training. Aiden is in total agreement too.

Rebel and Rory have been working non-stop with the Luna Ceremony and it makes me feel bad, because Rory is pregnant like me and Rebel is older. I keep asking to help but they both keep pushing me out the door, insisting they have it handled. There are omegas helping them too. When I realized they had help, it made me feel a little better, but not by much.

Aiden suddenly appeared and put his arms around me. “Mojito, you know you are not lifting a finger, right? My mother and sister will not hear of it.” He said, “Besides, Navy and Amber need you. You have to go shopping for a Luna Dress for tonight.”

Navy and Amber seem really nice. It was funny meeting Adrian, because he and Isaiah are identical and it’s like seeing Isaiah. When they both stood together, it was unreal. They only ones that can really tell them apart is the family. They know each other better than anyone. As strange as it sounds, everything feels really comfortable with the entire family together.

“Do I really have to wear a dress?” I asked.

“I personally don’t care, but it’s a big deal and I don’t want you to have any regrets.” He said. ” Besides, I get to unwrap you later.” He said with a smirk.

I shake my head. “You and that damn Aiden Effect.”

This immediately makes him smile even more as he grabs me and kisses me deeply.

I hear Reid’s footsteps coming from behind us, “Hello, Reid.” I said without turning my head.

“Okay, seriously, you have to show me how you do that, sis.” He said. “I need to become a Jedi like you with that skill.”

“Hmmm…I think you don’t have enough time learn from me, grasshopper.” I said with a smile.

“I really want to see your wolf, sis. I know you can’t shift right now though. Aiden told me Nyx is unlike anything we have seen before.”

“Why can’t I shift?” I asked looking at Aiden.

“You’re pregnant, mojito. It can hurt the pups.” He said seriously.

‘Have these wolves learned nothing yet?’ Nyx said, truly exasperated. ‘I’m not like other wolves. I can shift and the pups won’t be in harm’s way. We shifted before and you were already three weeks pregnant.’

‘Wait, so under normal circumstances, she-wolves can’t shift when they are pregnant?’

‘No. But we are special. We defy odds. We have been doing it all our life.’ Nyx said.

“Nyx said we are not the same as other she-wolves. We can shift without hurting the pups.” I

said

Both Aiden and Reid look at me with wide eyes. Then what are we waiting for?” Reid asked, clearly wanting to meet Nyx.

Adrian comes out having heard the tail end of the conversation. “Wait, you can still shift?”

“Nyx is saying she can and it won’t affect the pups.” Aiden said. “We don’t know the extent of Thalia’s and Nyx’s abilities. We have been learning as we go. But one thing is for sure; everything we thought we knew, doesn’t apply to Thalia.” He said.

“Then I want to see her shift too!” Adrian said excitedly.

Reid chimes in, “Navy and Amber are coming. Let’s meet them at the back of the pack house.”

Everyone is excited and I’m still trying to wrap my head around, about not being able to shift. Under normal circumstances

women can’t shift. I would have felt extremely

vulnerable if I couldn’t shift to protect our pups.

Aiden hearing my thoughts holds me. “Even if you wouldn’t have been able to, I would have protected you, Thalia. You know that, right?”

I nod my head and place it on his chest. “I know. I’m just trying to understand who I am now. Everything is so new to me.”

“I know. It’s an adjustment for all of us, mojito.”

We make our way to the back. Navy brought a robe and Amber is beside Adrian. Aiden stands in front of me, as I strip down and when Nyx pulls the shift, it almost feels like an extra set of hands are protecting the pups. It feels foreign and strange but at the same time familiar.

Once Nyx appears, everyone gasps.

“I know, I’m a lot to take in, everyone. It’s hard being this gorgeous.” Nyx said proudly.

Aiden chuckles and then Reid and Adrian start laughing. “I like you Nyx. Clearly, you are gorgeous.” Reid said.

“And feisty.” Aiden added. “Alright beautiful, how are the pups?”

“Our pups are fine. As time goes by, whenever we shift, you will see my pregnant form too.”

Leon pushes forward, “I can’t wait to see you pregnant, mate.”

Nyx purrs at Aiden and nudges her face, making Aiden chuckle and then Reid and Adrian look at her funny.

Reid speaks up first, “I’ve never thought about how Navy’s wolf would look pregnant since

she can’t shift.”

Adrian looks pensive, “Amber and I don’t have pps yet, but it is an interesting thought. I would say my brother is lucky to see both forms

“I’m the luckiest man on the planet.” He says proudly.

Inwardly, I’m blushing, Not Nyx though. She is preening. She loves being the unique one in the group.”

“The scar on your underbelly is also lighter now Nyx.” Aiden said. He always looks me see if there are improvements of any kind with my body. He doesn’t care, but he knows I self-conscious about it, so he always highlights in for me.

After a little while I shift back and put on the robe Navy and Amber insist on leaving in a few minutes for a Luina dress, so I hurry upstairs and put on some clothes. When I come out, I hear Adrian and Amber.
