His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 368

Chapter 368

Aiden POV

‘Don’t go to meet them by yourself. I’m on my way.’ I said.

‘I’m halfway to the dungeons.’ She said.

I start running until I see her. I pulled her into my arms, “They don’t come near you.” I said.

“I know.” She said.

Through the pack link I send a message out. ‘Intruders are coming. Protect your Luna. Warriors meet me at the pack entrance. Isaiah, bring Adrian.’ I said.

We start walking to the pack entrance, hand in hand, “Tina is gone and Rose is starting her punishment.” I said.

“What kind of punishment?”

“I made her take an aphrodisiac laced with medication to force her to go into heat at the same time.” I said flatly.

“Oy. That sounds like she is going to suffer.” She replied.

“I’m not nice with my torture, mojito. I pay back in kind the misdeeds of others. It’s always been my style.”

“I’ve noticed. What about Diego?”

“His wolf is weakening. Two more days and he’ll be too weak to fight back. Then I begin phase

two.”

“What’s phase two?”

“You’ll see. You will be with me.” I said as we continued walking. I’m not worried about Armando. He poses no threat.

“Oh, in two days it’s the full moon for Canary and Sin. Remember they are turning.” She reminded me.

“Once they turn, we should throw a party for them.” I suggested.

“I’ll get with mom about it. We can make ribs.” She smiled.

When we get to the pack entrance, warriors are there. I see Isaiah and Adrian. Their faces look serious. I see Armando and there is another guy there with them. I haven’t seen him before. I also see my mom and dad walking up, along with Mia and Luca.

Thalia begins when she sees Armando, “What are you doing here, Armando?”

Armando smiles, “I’m here to bring you home, Thalia. You and your sister. This is Julian. Your

Choper sod

father chose him to be Mia’s husband.”

I growl, “Mia has a husband and I’m Thalia’s husband, Sorry you wasted the trip. Get the fuck out of here,”

Armando’s eyes darkened. “You don’t get it, do you? You are not strong enough to go against two crime families.”

Thalia starts laughing. Followed by the rest of the warriors and my family. “Armando, you seriously are the stupidest person ever. Not only are we strong enough, but you are also too weak. You have no idea what mess you are getting yourself into. Because I respect Don Arnaldo, I’ll give you one chance to leave. Take your bullshit crew with you.”

Armando steps forward, “And if I don’t?”

I step forward, “Then you are not only forfeiting your life, but the life of everyone you brought with you. Ask yourself if it’s worth it.”

Suddenly, Armando pulls a gun out, “Yeah, it’s worth it.” He fires the gun and right as I’m ready to shift, Thalia jumps in front of me. The bullet hits her shoulder, and her eyes look into mine with pain. “He was aiming for your heart.” She whispered before passing out on the ground.

“THALIA!” I screamed. My mother rushes over and grabs her, “Go.” She said as she grabbed Thalia and took her back.

Armando is in shock. He meant to kill me but hurt my mate and all I see is red. I shift and lunge at him. Before I can reach him, a wolf bumps me out of the way and tackles Armando before ripping his head off. Just like that, Armando is no more.

When I look up, it’s a Shadow Maw wolf. It’s either Damaro or Valeno. I’m not sure who though. I look at Julian and shift back. Julian is not shocked to see I shifted into a wolf. He just smirked. When I look at him, his eyes flash gold. Fuck. He’s a wolf too.

“I want no quarrel with you Alpha Aiden. I just want Mia.” He said.

Luca steps forward, “She’s mine, Julian.”

“You think that matters to me, Alpha Luca?” He smirked. “I could just kill you and take her anyway. I’m a patient man though.”

I growl at Julian. “You won’t go near Thalia or Mia.”

“I don’t want your mate. I want Mia.” Julian said.

“Why?” Mia stepped forward.

“I have my reasons. You can come willingly or like I said, I’m patient. I will eventually have you and no one will stop me.” He said.
