Thalia POV

Yesterday, for the first time in 24 years, I feel lighter than I ever have in my life. Diego is gone. He can’t hurt me anymore. His end may have been brutal and gruesome, but he never once cared about what he put me through and I was a pup. He got the exact same treatment I got and he was a grown man. The only difference was incorporating the torture he put my mother through. He was heartless with me. He showed no mercy, so at the end, neither did I. Now I am only looking forward.

I’m looking forward, starting with Canary and Si turning into wolves today. I’m out by the smoker with Rebel and we are having a blast cooling and talking through the menus with my mother. My mother is chopping tomatoes and serrano peppers to make fresh pico de gallo, Mia is mixing masa to make tortillas, and I am peeling plantains to boil and make into mufungo.

Aiden comes down and sees all of us cooking, “Damn, it smells good out here, ladies.”

I smiled, “Ribs, shredded chicken, tortillas and fresh salsa…it’s going to be a party!”

Canary comes up from behind with Sin and laughs, “Where there’s a party, there’s a Kaia and Sinclair!”

“Are we officially using your government names now?” I asked.

“Yes, ma’am we are.” Kaia said.

I laugh, “Well alright then! Are you both excited, nervous…what are you feeling?”

“Nervous”

“Excited”

Both Kaia and Sinclair said at the same time. Kaia can’t wait and Sinclair is having anxiety overturning. Reading both their thoughts, both are decided, regardless of how they are feeling that they are going through with the turn and we are about three hours away.

“Well, food is going to be ready in an hour. I still need to make guacamole. Any volunteers to help me with the avocados and limes?”

Mia smiles and enjoys the atmosphere when Dr. Higslee and Luca show up to join in the fun. “I volunteer Luca to help with the limes.”

“What am I doing with limes?” He asked with an eyebrow raised.

“Getting the juice out for the guac.” She said.

I look at Aiden, “You’re on avocados then, guapo

We are all having a good time when Adrian comes up and he does not look happy. Aid at him and his brows furrow. “What’s wrong,

Adrian just shook his head. “Nothing. Where’s Isaiah?”

Aiden’s eyes glaze over and I know he is mind linking Isaiah. When he refocuses, “He is in his room getting ready. He said to come on up.”

Adrian nods curtly and turns to leave.

“What’s wrong with him?” I asked.

Aiden sighs, “I think he got into another argument with Amber.”

“Well, their mates, I’m sure they will work it out. I said smiling.

“I’m sure they will too.” Aiden said.

After the food was prepared, pack members and warriors started forming lines for food. We laid out everything buffet style, and we all enjoyed the food. We played loud music and Kaia, Sinclair, Mia, Rory, Amber and I all started dancing with each other.

Aiden’s eyes grew dark as he watched me dance.

‘Nine.’ He said. It has become our way of telling each other that we want each other.

“Tonight.’ I said back as I kept swinging my hips.

After dinner and music, the time nears. Kaia and Sinclair’s energy is becoming more nervous by the second.

I start making announcements with Aiden by my side. Kaia and Sinclair are my friends, so I want to be the one to speak to the pack. “Everyone! Thank you so much for celebrating this night! In half an hour, Kaia and Sinclair will begin their journey. They will be turning with the assistance of your Beta, Isaiah. Once they have completed their transition, they will accept both Aiden and me as their Alpha and Luna. They will be official members of Blackstone, and we couldn’t ask for a better addition to our pack.

Isaiah walks up with Adrian. He starts to speak, “If I may make a suggestion, Alpha and Luna, I had the pleasure of watching these two spar earlier today. They should join the pack as warriors in addition to their tech capabilities. Both Kaia and Sinclair will definitely contribute to Blackstone in a meaningful way.”

Aiden steps up, “Duly noted. Let’s see how they fare after they transition.”

Isaiah looks at Kaia and Sinclair, “Ready to go to the pack hospital and begin?”

“Lead the way!” Kaia said, and Sinclair is smiling

Isaiah POV

It’s time. I’m going to turn these two pains in my ass into wolves. At least they are capabi wasn’t joking when I said both could be warriors. They are good fighters as I witnessed today.

“Isaiah, have you ever done this before?” Sinclair asked me.

“It’s a little too late to ask me that now, don’t you think?” I replied.

Sinclair’s cheeks heat up. She is cute when she blushes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kaia blush. She is definitely more fearless than Sinclair. Maybe it’s because she is already married. She doesn’t hold back anymore.

We made it to the pack hospital. Raul is waiting for us with a smile. “Isaiah, ladies, are we ready?”

“Yes, we are!” Kaia said, answering for both herself and Sinclair.

“Great. We are heading outside. This must be done under the light of the full moon.” Raul said.

We followed him to the terrace outside around the back side of the hospital. There are heart monitors and crash carts nearby as precautionary measures, but there are also two beds with straps.

Kaia and Sinclair are strapped to beds and Raul starts explaining the procedures as he starts getting the heart monitors ready.

“Okay, ladies. In five minutes, we will begin. Before that, let me explain how this is going to work. First, Isaiah will bite both of you on your wrists. He will pump his wolf’s venom into your blood stream. Once this is done, Isaiah must leave. When you have your first shift, your wolves may want to attack Isaiah, and we want to prevent that from happening. During your transition Alpha Aiden and Luna Thalia will come and wait for you both to transition and shift. Both of them will go for a run with you. When all four of you come back, then you will accept them both as your pack leaders. From there, if you decide to leave to tie up loose ends back home before officially starting in Blackstone, then that will be the time to do it.”

“Got it.” Kaia said.

“Will it hurt?” Sinclair asked.
