His plump mate (Rebel and Austin) by Buchanan novel Chapter 402

Thalia POV

After a couple of days, I was ready to go back to the pack house. Nyx already healed me, but my body still feels stiff and I know my hips are bigger now because my sweatpants feel a little snug. I was already curvy to begin with. Not in an overweight kind of way, but my body shape has always been an hour-glass shape.

‘It’s a thicker hourglass now mojito. I have to admit; I’m going to enjoy having my hands on you when you are completely recovered.’ Aiden said.

‘Seriously? None of my clothes are going to fit me properly.’

‘Less clothing…that’s good. I’m still not hearing a problem.’ He said looking lustfully at my hips, before wrapping his arms around me and kissing me deeply.

A small moan escapes and he growls appreciatively. “Seven more to go.”

“I’m definitely talking to the Moon Goddess. That was painful as hell.” I said and it made Aiden chuckle.

“Mom said that the first pregnancy was the hardest for her, but after that, it was easier. She said giving birth to Rory was easy too, despite what happened afterwards.” He said.

“What happened afterwards?” I asked.

“Oh, Rory was born with those damn talons. They were extended during the delivery and mom suffered internal bleeding and could have died. Raul and Dr. Hadley saved her though.” He said calmly.

Meanwhile, my eyes widened. “Your mom could’ve died.”

“Yeah, but she’s tough. Just like a little tiger I know.” He smirked and kissed me again. “Come on, let’s take our little darlings back to the pack house and get you in bed to recover.”

***

After we got back to the pack house, it felt like the entire pack was waiting for us. I know that isn’t true because there are guards at the gates. They got to meet Rosario and Teagan and thought they were adorable.

Our daughters are going to be spoiled princesses in this pack. I can already tell.

‘They should be. We made them and they deserve to be spoiled.’ Nyx said.

I laughed inwardly, ‘Yes, I am proud that we made these incredible pups too, Nyx.’

“Has Leon said anything about his pups?” I asked Aiden.

“Are you kidding me? I am constantly being yelled at by him now.” He laughed. “I can’t do anything right according to Leon.”

I started laughing. “Yeah, and Nyx says the girls deserved to be spoiled because we made them.”

“Well, I agree with her there.” Aiden said, and it was funny.

As we pulled up to the pack house and saw everyone, Aiden got out first and then helped me out. Once we were out, he got the girls out of the car seats. With both girls in his arms, he looked at the pack proudly.

“Surprised your mate allows you to join the men in a meeting.” He said.

Heath is striking me like the kind of man that believes a woman is just an ornament for his amusement. I bet Tina will be really happy with this guy.

Aiden speaks up, “My mate is my equal, as yours should be Alpha Heath.”

Heath thinned his lips but held his tongue. Clearly, he had a snarky remark to make but decided not to ruin the moment. We all walked up to the alpha floor and led the men to the office and then put our daughters in the nursery. The nanny was waiting there too and said she would take care of everything.

“You really should be resting, Mojito.”

“After the meeting, guapo.” I said. “Besides, Heath might seem like he is okay with us now, but I don’t think he really is and I’d like to observe him a little more.”

“Just remember, we may need his help.”

“Yeah, I have to wonder if Tina will intervene though.” I asked.

“Well, if Heath really is the kind of guy who doesn’t listen to his mate, then it may not play a factor. I’m not sure how she convinced him to come here, but clearly, something triggered him into coming here though.”

“Yeah, and that is what concerns me. We may need help from Golden Frost. I don’t know how either, but it’s possible. I have a feeling they have the tool we need.” I said.

“How about we go find out?” Aiden said grabbing me by the hand.
