“That’s right! I’m coming with you.” Rebel looked at me and interjected before I could say anything.

I open a mind link to Rebel, Renz and Lacy. ‘I want Rebel with us. She tells me that her wolf is gifted and is a mix of a lie detector test and a truth serum in one.’

‘Yup, Roxie and I can get the truth out of the rogue and find out what’s going on. Then Lacy and I can start planning the Luna Ceremony.’ Rebel says

‘Back up, Roxie is gifted and you are only now just telling me this? Girl, we are so talking.’ Lacy says.

I roll my eyes. ‘Lacy, no using Roxie’s gift for mischief. Behave!’ I scold her, partially laughing at her when I see her pout. Even Renz in laughing at her.

“Leave it to my mate to go looking for trouble” Renz says laughing.

I break up the comedy show and take Rebel by the hand. I signal to Renz that we need to get started on the rogue. He kisses his mate and we start making our way to the dungeon where he is being kept.

Rebel’s demeanor changes and it looks like Roxie is now in control. “Roxie?” I ask, “Is everything alright?”

“Yes mate. You need me here right now. Not Rebs.” Roxie says and her demeanor and aura is strange. Almost like she is emitting something powerful. It feels like Alpha energy, which is strange.

“Have you done this before, or do you just know you can?” I ask her.

“Does it matter?” She raises an eyebrow at me. “By the way, when I’m doing my thing, you and Renz need to be behind me. Do not stand to the side or in front. The fall back is a bitch if you don’t.”

I raise an eyebrow, “What do you mean? You know I’m a powerful and strong Alpha, right?”

She smirks, “You know I’m moon goddess blessed, right?”

I chuckle, “You and Rebel are definitely the sassiest women I know. I’m getting tagged teamed over here.”

“Don’t worry, Alpha, we’ll go easy on you.” She says, my mouth thins at the sarcasm when she says Alpha and at that Renz starts laughing.

“Roxie, we are going to be best friends.” Renz starts teasing, but his teasing is directed to me. Bastard.

We reach the cell where the Rogue is being held. He is chained with silver chains to the wall. I open the cell and walk in, followed by Renz and then my mate. I harden my gaze and push my aura out to the rogue.

“What’s your name?” I start with the rogue. “Fuck you!” he growls.

I narrow my eyes. “I have a mate for that, so no thank you. Your name.” I demanded, pushing out my aura again. He is buckling at the strength of my aura, “Rodney!” he growls.

“Lie.” Roxie quietly said behind me.

I looked at the rogue, “We are off to a bad start if you can’t give me your name.” I told him. He looked at my

“True” Roxie spoke again. She doesn’t stop looking at this rogue. Her head tilts, but she stays quiet. It’s just as intimidating as my aura being pushed out. Interesting.

“Why did so many of you come to our pack last night?” I ask him. “I would suggest you tell me the truth, we will know if you are lying.”

“Money. Your pack has it, we wanted it. We got together and teamed up to take you out.” He sneered.

“Lie.” Roxie said. This surprised me. Most people were usually after the pack’s wealth.

“So, if not money, then why were you attacking my pack?” I tried again. This must be the calmest I’ve ever had to be during an interrogation, but then, I don’t think it’s me. I think it’s because of Roxie.
