Chapter 488
Isaiah POV
I’m fucking furious. These women just want to know how to defend themselves. They don’t want to be helpless. The first opportunity for them to learn, and Sheri is knocked unconscious, and the rest of the women are threatened.
Kaia is going mental, and that’s not good for the pup. I hold her hand, push calm into the bond, and then take over.
I push out my aura and make sure it presses everyone in the room to their knees, except for the omegas and my family. “YOUR LUNA ASKED A QUESTION! SPEAK!” I command.
The pack members have their necks exposed in submission, and Niall speaks up first. “Today was led by Kyle, Alpha. He would know,” he said with a strained voice.
“WHO IS KYLE?! STAND NOW!” I commanded.
Someone in the middle of the table, two tables away, is trying not to stand but fails. Once he stands, Kaia marches over to him, grabs him by his hair and drags him to the middle of the dining hall. She looked at me, “Release him.”
Her voice sounds deadly, and quite honestly, I’m not going to let anything happen to her, but I’m not stopping her either. Besides, she has lots of backup. Adrian and I alone could take every one of these
warriors and not break a sweat.
Once released, he backed up. Kaia looks like she wants to rip his throat out, but instead, she releases
him and takes an offensive stance.
“You get one chance, asshole. Who knocked Sheri unconscious and put her in the pack hospital?”
He smirked, “No, Luna. I didn’t lay a hand on her. We were practicing. We barely touched her. She was just too weak.”
“Lie,” Mom said.
Kaia heard it and, quicker than a viper, landed a solid blow to Kyle’s solar plexus. It sent him back, and he had to gasp for air.
“Try again, asshole.”
“It’s not our fault the omegas are weak. Alpha Paul banned omegas and pups from training. The only exception is pups of warriors or ranked members.”
I’ve had enough, and so have Dad and Adrian. We move forward, and I stand Kaia beside me, showing solidarity with my mate.
He lunged, thinking we wouldn’t be ready to react, but he learned very quickly that he ain’t shit. Kaia jumped, and her fist connected with his nose, and blood spurted in different directions. The rest of the loyalists charged at all of us and we started breaking arms, legs, noses and jaws.
Sinclair was impressive, taking three warriors on her own and knocking teeth out before busting their knees. The screams were satisfying.
“That’s for thinking omega women are weak!” She growled.
Mom took another two and bent an arm backwards on one, snapping the bone and making the arm look disfigured. The second warrior got his head cracked open with a water jug. Good job, Mom.
Dad, Adrian and I were taking turns on which body part we were going to break or dislocate. Kaia kept picking off warriors and then when she got to the last one, she was so angry, she used her forehead to butt it into the last warrior and broke his nose and then grabbed him by his crotch and shoulder and with strength I didn’t know she possessed, she flipped him over her head an on to the table behind her like a fucking wrestler running on nothing but pure adrenaline.
By the time we were done, the dining hall was a mess. The omegas were wide-eyed, as were the remaining warriors who were not loyalists to Paul. This was about thirty warriors in total.
“Now, those who are still standing, tell me who hurt Sheri, or I swear on everything good and holy, I’m coming for each of you!” She roared. 1
“Luna, I’m Brent. I was Micah. The one you threw on the table.”
Kaia turned around, but I grabbed Micah before she did. “How is that ‘women are weak’ statement working out for you, Micah?” I asked with a snarl.
